@@scottykilmer oh. Ok, really liked the video regardless. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, everyone, for the positive comments, If you're ever in Kenya, Give me a shout out so we can hang out.
DMCee TV I love the way you presented your car! Super practical, 4 cyl, a/c seems like great transportation. People here in the US forget that a car is meant to get you around every day and not be a $tatu$ $ymbol!
Very enjoyable presentation Mr DMcee tv.! Thank you. We are in Ottawa, ontario Canada if you ever find yourself in this part of the world you have a place to park yourself at my home..sincerely john h.
Man, that place looks beautiful. Would love to visit one day. Hit you up if I'm out there.

It is a good idea to buy used car from Japan. They were mostly low mileage for Japan being a small country, also well maintained because Japanese are very self-disciplined nation.
It's well maintained because it's mandatory to have an inspection and maintenance every 2yrs. Discipline in car maintenance for those who knows about cars, I work in Mitsubishi but most of my workmates dont even know where the dipshit i mean dipstick is or even the battery! lol
That and they get all the cool stuff. Bored out motors, special trim lines (ex. Type R) sense the 70's. We Americans get the watered down versions cause of government regulations 😤
Funny how they speak better English in Kenya than we do in here in the U.S.
His voice is very calming. He could tell me how he is gonna murder me in great detail and i would still be relaxed
🤣🤣🤣
It's pretty spacious for a little elf mobile!🚗💥🗯🗯🌴☀️🌴
Yeah, I was surprised by that too.
Scott. I been watching all your videos. you convinced me to buy a 2019 Toyota Camry XSE. keep up the good work. you deserve a RUclips award. love your videos.
What an awesome car!! I just bought a 2018 model in November. Sadly, the vehicle was totaled on Jan 3rd! 😥Good news on two fronts it didn't depreciate a penny on the payout for the accident so expect great resale value. Also, the little car took a massive impact by a 1970 Chevy truck that T-boned me on the driver's side. My 8yr old and I walked away with just bruises!! I immediately went and bought another Corolla but only got an XLE because all the XSE's were black. It's too hot where I live for a black car! Sorry so long.
His English is as good as most Brits. Here-Here!
Hear here.
His English is better than most Americans
Mikgwerd He isn’t talking like a gangsta thug. That’s refreshing.
His English is the East African accent.
Something tells me he brought a Mitsubishi colt to keep a low profile from the VIBRANIUM that he’s hiding 🤔
fading_starz LOL. Nicely done. 👍
That's the entrance to Wakanda, tea farm😉 rriiiigghhtt...
Wakanda forever!
This company made the Planes the Zero that bombed pearl habour 07/12/1941 but there cars anr not as good as Honda or Toyota limo,s Good video .
🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely Fantastic Scotty. Thank you for bringing us a world view of Automobiles from far away places. I love the pride of ownership that people show in the cars that they drive no matter where they live in this big world . btw the owner of that sweet mitsi is a very likeable character.
Thank you very much, David, for that insight into your life.
I hope that your Colt keeps chugging along for many more carefree miles.
Thanks Peter, I know it will serve me for a long time
🎶 *I bless the Colts down in Africa...*
*Gotta get some time to rev the cars we never haaaaad!* 🎶
Rev up your Kenyan Colt!!
Great guy and good car. The colt is reliable and spacious, i had one and i liked it🇺🇸👍🇰🇪
Nice! Look at this! Cool guy, cool car, cool scenery. Loving it❤
REV UP YOUR AFRICAN CARS!!!! I’ve always liked those modified African off toad vehicles! GREAT VIDEO!!!
*We really need to start a patreon or crowdfunding for Scotty so that he can build an garage with a lift and stuff.* Hate to see the good old man laying on the cold ground in the winter when he is jacking up a car or in the summer heat sweating like a maniac. _He helps us out every time, so why shouldn't we not do the same for him?_
Ilias Lamari good proposal
Lol what do you mean old? Scotty is in his prime💪
Ilias Lamari you do know he is wealthy right? He has the money , but doesnt prefer to do so
If he did that, his car repair videos would not be an almost anyone can fix thing since he has a lift and not everyone has a lift
Dude is loaded. He would have gotten a lift if he wanted to.
Big up David. Watching you from Kiambu, Kenya!
Then unajua hapa ni Limuru. Thanks
Rev up your Wakanda colt! 🙅
Scotty, Thank you for David's AWESOME video!!! 👍👍
thanks scotty, i'm from Ghana and i have been watching almost all your video. Africans love u
Damn thats some beautiful scenery
YES! That's exactly what I thought too! SO green and lush.
Ikr great video wonderful insight because I didn’t expect that. The media does always show us the worst part of Africa
Funny I used to drive Colt Plus in Myanmar! My old flame's shining bright in this video.
Thanks Scotty. This is a nice change of pace. I like to see what normal people drive around the world. Keep it real!
He is a very funny man. Loved the video and his humor.
My wife has had one of those colts since 2006 , 957cc 3 stroke same colour as in video and she loves it she will not let it go, never broke down , runs on fumes and easy to park. not a spot of rust on it either albeit the lacquer now peeling off and needs touched up. Little oil leak but still a great little car.
sorry Im in Scotland ... loads rain snow little sunshine so the rust or lack of it is a strange one
My fav viewer submission vid yet!! Awesome job!
At 2:53 David’s use of the hamburger illustration insert is funny& to the point! Good imitation of Scotty!
Thumbs up for my African brother. Here in Nigeria, similar story about imports. Through most of our used cars now come fro USA, but used parts from Japan.
Very interesting car, one of the most interesting on this channel - giving us a taste of Africa automotive power. Thanks DMCee TV.
Asante sana scotty kuweka nchi yetu kwenye show yako. You da man and keep shooting car repair videos, zinatusaidia sana
Petey asante kwa kutazama bro, sub kwa channel yangu
DON'T TEST THE AIRBAGS! lol
nice car for 10 years old and decent miles on it for that age too!
But then how else will he know if they work? Bet you didn't think about that
Let’s test it on a rhino
OMG that commercial 😱
Great review and thanks for taking the time to show us your colt !
Guys are the same world over. We love cars!!
Thanks for the ride! I'll be haunted by that song for days but it was worth it.
The man keeps his car super clean! Props!
Love from Kenya. Big fan, Scotty.
Good to watch cars from other continents and new landscapes.Amazing post this one!
Clean, non offensive comment.
Vishal Akula were you hoping to win his car?
tom ster Yeah bro, I believe it’s better than my E-class😂😂
Good video. Dude definitely cares & takes pride in his whip. It doesn't have all the bells & whistles, but he's cool with that! Great video David & thanks Scotty; I can't stop smiling!
And that damn song is in my head on heavy rotation. 😅
Hahaha the Japanese music is addictive.
Hello David, thank you for showcasing your car!
Thanks
I enjoyed your video David. Looks like a great little car that will last you a long time. Thanks for sharing. As others have said, Kenya is breath-taking. Those tea fields look so peaceful. If you’re ever in Newfoundland, Canada, I’ll show you the sights.
I like the video, very detailed video on the Colt. That music is now stuck in my head...
LOL this is awesome funny! Thanks man! GREAT VIDEO!!!!
Thanks for that video, David! It was fascinating... and funny! That jingle though...
Thank you for sharing your car with us. I liked your Mitsubishi. Here in the U. S., a Colt is a firearm.😁
But in the us we also used to have a Plymouth and dodge colt hatchback . Made by mitsubishi for chrysler .
or a horse
Hey David nice video.I'm from Kenya to here in Thome.I also watch Scotty Kilmer's videos
Hi Jeff, Thanks for watching, sub to my channel. What car do you drive? can i shoot a video of it. THanks bro.
No air bags, we die like real men. LOL
Thanks scotty for a great car owner and how his video was very smooth
Very nice little car my friend, hopefully some day you will have that Kantanka that's made in Ghana Africa 😊
Awesome video bro so much respect ✊🏼
Used cars imported from Japan are awesome. I have been to few of those in the suburbs of Tokyo back in summer of 2003 and bought a Corolla 1990 for $50 that was missing the tape recorder, yes, a working car with no high mileage for $50...
My sister has the turbo version of this car. It's a little rocket! Such a fun car to drive.
In South Africa, the Mitsubishi Colt was actually a bakkie/van (what Americans would call a truck), and was available in both single and double cab version. Mitsubishi replaced the Colt(SA version) with the Triton in 2007/8.
A bakkie? That sounds really funny when you are Dutch.
@@louvendran7273 I figured that yeah. Still really funny. It is just sad how things are these days in South Africa.
Very cool David, and really nice countryside. Thanks for posting Scotty.
Time to have some tea! Cheers to Kenya and Mr TCee
Just visited Nairobi last November: I saw a surprising amount of cars. Quickly developing economy there. Beautiful tea fields in the background! Great car!
I love this guy's attitude and his car! Great video DMCee and thanks Scotty for giving this guy the spotlight!
i have one too. a bit loud but the most reliable car ever had to this day.
Very well presented, nice car. You have taken good care of it. Also nice fields. That guy is very professional and seems to be a good person
Loving your virtual tachometer, that's real old-school style!
DOPE AF SCOTTY, THANKS FOR GIVING THIS GUY A CHANCE.
Interesting episode. Kinda surprising the amount of space in the back. Bet that thing is super good on fuel too. Pretty spacious engine bay too because it's such a small motor. Lol. Makes it easier to work on though. I love engine bays with lots of room and have since I owned an '80s Mustang with a 4 cylinder in it. Lol. Many that was a spacious engine bay, cause it was meant to house a 5.0.
Nice car, David! Beautiful road past the tea fields in Kenya. You need a Supra, too!
This was a great one. Greetings brother. Cool car you have. World famous Scotty Kilmer
A/C. That must be a luxury for that car in Kenya. Nice
Scotty is loved worldwide! !!!
Enjoying see different parts of the world and there motoring. Kenya looks beautiful.
Thanks for the post Scotty and DMCEE.
I really like the international component of Wacky Wednesdays.
I'm from South Africa. I own a 1987 Toyota Corolla 1.6 GLS Sprinter. It has over 850 000km. Still running good
I had a 92 Dodge (Mitsubishi engine) Colt years ago and it was great, especially the engine. Manual trans. Smooth and efficient. Body was thin sheet metal that you could bend with a concentrated stare. Parents had a 87 Colt carbureted and as good if not better than mine. Not even a radio or a/c in that one. You could pick up the rear end by the fender and slide it sideways over gravel. Wish I had another.
Oh my gosh ,that song plus car is too cuuuuuuute
I love how people love their cars. ❤️🚘🚘🚗🚗👏👏💕
Good video David ... those Japanese super minis are really good at interior space.
lol RPM by sound. Super interesting learning about Kenyan car buying habit, mostly used from Japan.
Sweet!
I owned a colt once... the starter locked up and started a fire under the hood 🔥
LMAOOOOO made my day 😂😂😂
I think you should change the title to "What Cars are really like in Kenya" because it help reduce misconceptions that Africa is a country
And where im from thats a mirage not colt
Wow, awesome car. You maintain it very well!
The best part of the video was at the end when he shows the countryside in Kenya. Very interesting looking place.
hi Scotty thats awesome the beginning was epic well done mate. in africa more than half of the cars are toyotas
Beautiful Country.Lovely,Thank You!
I'm beginning to think maybe I should send Scotty a video of my 1974 Citroen DS🤔
@@allenelder4675 Yes I am proud, although mine is in considerably worse condition. I'm in the process of restoration right now. Should hopefully be done end of February.
Dave, I loved your video and will sub to your channel. Kenya looks beautiful and if I ever visit you got to take me for a ride lol. All the best. Thank you Scotty.
Never TEST the airbags!!! Not yet!
Too new still. But, VERY interesting, video guys!
This man plays a song for his car every morning. Awwwwww.
Watching from Kenya, the Nicholas Cage meme made my day!
Thanks bro
Yay! Mitsubishi!
I remember years ago we had the Dodge Colt here in the U.S.. It was a Mitsubishi import. :-)
I use to rip around our fields in a Dodge Colt. A go cart of sorts. I beat the heck out of it and it kept going until it was vandalized. Fun little car.
My athletic shoe salesman in New Jersey is Kenya's 1988 Olympic 1500 meter Gold Medal winner,Peter Rono.
Thanks for showing rush hour traffic in Kenya ...always time to smell the tea leaves.
i didn't know you guys grow tea, and i'm a tea nerd. gotta look into that... cool car bro. one of the very few upsides for driving on the wrong side of the road. 🤠
Kenya is actually 3rd largest tea producer after China and India
