Beautiful! Some do not understand because they are on the outside looking in, as I used to be at one time in my life. But praise God I am now on the inside looking out! He filled me with the precious Holy Ghost when I was still in my teens. I am now 51. When I fell He picked me up again. When I was weak He have me strength. It’s actually very incouraging. If you listen to what they are saying then you woukd probably see that. When I received the spirit the leaders of the Church that tarried with me screamed with joy and encouragement. It’s very uplifting.
Today I got the Holy Ghost. I never understood why the people shake like that or act in that way. Now I understand. Right when I received the gift I felt so happy and hugged the pastor and his wife and exclaimed, "He saved us! He saved us! Isn't that wonderful!" Really can't be put into words how that feels. Relieved, thankful, and happy come close. Praise God! How wonderful!

Verbal Bean (anybody remember him?) That was June 9, 1967. I was 6 years old! The next night I was baptized in Jesus Name...I’m 57 years old now. My testimony that night was ‘I got something I never want to loose!’ That’s still my testimony.
And today, the Holy Ghost still leads and guides me. I’m a professor with a PhD, that teaches business at a local university in my city. The Holy Ghost has led and guided me through EVERY phase of my life. This experience is still REAL and applicable today.

The baptism is not one of the "gifts" mentioned in I Cor., which requires an interpretation. You are correct, no one should be pulling on her, but she doesn't seem to be complaining about it either--they are over-emotional and just as excited as she is and when He DOES come to baptize, it is NOT necessarily "in order" as you state--it is a very powerful, exciting and emotional filling that happens--it certainly is not quiet, calm or peaceful. (Acts 2:39), meaning that HE is NOT stopping baptizing people with the Holy Ghost. "Serious and orderly gift that God gives"? Who told you that? Where are you getting your teaching from? I was a baptist and I've been really nostalgic lately. This is basically how we got, eh, "saved" but with more kneeling and no tongues. First time at 5. Don't think I ever really got saved as these people describe it, as it was always just kind of "meh" like after you finish crying. I tried again of course, several times. Never, ever felt like I was happy enough about it. I'm an atheist now though so I don't really care.

I was filled with The Holy Spirit the day I became a believer. 1 Corinthians 6:19, "Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?" Also; 2 Corinthians 6:19, Ezekiel 36:27, 2 Timothy 1:14, Acts 6:5, Romans 8:9, 8:11, 8:15, Galatians 4:6, 5:18. YES, I received The Holy Spirit the day I became a belieber, and it looked nothing like this.
Scripture makes it perfectly clear how we are to act, and this is not it!
Galatians 5:22 ¶ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The Bible speaks of order and receiving the Holy Spirit this is something that come to you if God choses. Man cannot provoke or "shake" someone to receive. At that point that looks more like an "emotional" vs "spiritual" receiving. This is where many churches are failing and blinding themselves. I was a baptist and I've been really nostalgic lately. This is basically how we got, eh, "saved" but with more kneeling and no tongues. First time at 5. Don't think I ever really got saved as these people describe it, as it was always just kind of "meh" like after you finish crying. I tried again of course, several times. Never, ever felt like I was happy enough about it. I'm an atheist now though so I don't really care.
I can answer you: First, you didn't believe anything you saw or experienced, so you decided that it's not real. That Doesn't change the fact that it IS real--one person not yielding to God does not make His Word wrong--and that's what you're saying here: you didn't receive, so it's not true. That is so irrational, I won't even get into that one.
At five?? WOW!! You actually REMEMBER what this felt like--or didn't? That is SOME MEMORY!!
Of course you didn't think you "really get saved," because you never did.
To you it was all a ritual; to me, salvation is not only REAL but so is the moving of the Holy Ghost upon and within me, as well as BILLIONS of other people on this earth--those that have gone on before us and those who will have the baptism after both of us are long gone.
