i'm a mod guy, i honestly took about 4 months off when the game first came out and played other games because it was practically unplayable for me in my style upon release... still a long way to go, like to mentioned, industrial buildings are seriously lacking, was hoping we'd get some big, European style, warehouses and factories with the recent packs, but that did not come to pass
Me too bro!:)
My suggestion is to build a small satellite town the city will eventually meet and annex.
Builting it now a few tiles away will make it more realistically disjointed when the city sprawl reaches it. It'll also help with your low density demand and woukd be an excellent place to showcase the new UK pack assets.
Really useful tip about zoned industrial not polluting much as long as it’s not near a big pollution source!
Yess many not know that🥲
Since you asked for suggestions:
I would really like to see the next tile to be the one between the highway stub and the river. (If you draw a line from the fluid tanks area in the port through the massive grain elevator and keep going beyond the current border.) This little triangle between the current housing estates, the river and the highway that is going to exist there is a neat little corner that would probably have the last fringes of urban development (townhouses, lowrises, maybe the odd corner market) - and then right across the river would be where the suburban hellscape (also known as car-sprawl-ia) begins, so only single family home or duplexes at the most plus centralized, non-walkable shops. Or at least that's how I think a US city _would_ look like in that location...
Yess i want to build out that tile too soo bad😌
You know that the serie is good when half of the videos are centerd around ports!😂 Keep upp the good work ❤❤
Hahha yeah that was the last port episode i promise:D
After you popped up a few times in the last days on my feed, I finally played CS2 again and I am truely amazed by how much the game improved.
Thank you for your help to get my Motivation back!
Streetcar suburb with a main shopping street would be nice. Queen street in Toronto is a great example.
Great work as always!
nahh the yellow car at 10:56 caught me off guard 🤣
?
Watching this from Baltimore, so happy we were (almost!) inspiration for today's build. We're an imperfect but proud and hopeful city. If you want future inspiration from the city, I recommend looking at Locust Point (a residential neighborhood surrounded by a loop of industrial rail track), Johns Hopkins University (surrounded by the dense Charles Village + Hampden and Wyman Park), or one of the many port areas like Curtis Bay or Canton.
This series rocks, always such a pleasure watching you detail to this degree! Can’t wait for the rest!!
Nice! Good to have you back! Love how your style and skill transfers easily from CS1 to 2. Looking forward to more content!
Can’t wait for highway detailing. Cause that’s going to be my favorite part of the series.
One thing is certain: the CS2 channel with the best soundtrack
I love it when RUclips throws cool CS2 creators into my feed. Subbed and loving the work!
I'm trying to build something half as good as this. I'm learning a great deal about how to build from watching you though. I very much appreciate your videos, and I hope you keep making them. I love the music selection too.
Imperatur, as I watch you build amazing tile after tile, I sit here and thing, that would be an interesting way to do a 5 builders city project. That way, every builder would have to continue on adding to the next attached tile, with a two tile series before passing on to the next builder! Hope to see that in 2025! Keep up the great work!
Beautiful work and I am so inspired to keep copying you as best as I can. You're a freaking legend and deserve to be recognized as a legend. Keeping the videos coming brother man... Please.. thank you.
Superb, man🎉day by day, your video presentation got better 👏
fantastic industry build as per usual fella! There is actually a ploppable rail extension to the cargo harbour now that means you can have actual operating rail yards for it that don't require running tracks to the waterside.
Next? A suburb following on from the elevated metro maybe? Get some more population in....
I noticed your are taking some inspiration from places like Quebec city and Montreal, in my home province. Nice to see !
Another great addition to the city! Love how you’re using so many different terrain heights, it makes it look so realistic. 🫶
Thanks bro:))
I would love to see some big highway infrastructure in the near future!
Literally just buid a massive interchange
My fav CS2 series so far 👌
im always waiting this series!!
I'd like to see you tackle a regional airport too, maybe even some terraforming and creating an island like the Toronto Island Airport since you've been taking inspiration from Toronto and other Canadian cities
LOVE the music in your videos!!!
Increíbles tus creaciones como siempre.
Love this!
Really cool idea: you should continue from the other side of the first episode and build a cool harbor for cruises and stuff.
Hey Impuratur, love your stuff, but I have to mute the awful music. Can you show an asterisk or something when you’re back to talking so I know when to unmute please?
I love to see how every single tile has its own theme but fits into the greater picture just fine. How about an airport near the coast at some point?
Beautiful job man
Dass finde ich also echt toll, liebe solche videos
Freut mich:))
Love this series❤
A suburbs sounds right for next episode
Sounds good to me:)
Montreal is great because theres a huge train yard you can build and Mont Royal looks awesome
Hey bro with what do you record in game those smooth videos? I am using nvidia recording option but it s laggy....Great work, keep on BUIDLING
Would love to see a large park area, perhaps along the waterfront
I can't play without mods lol. Namely, Move It and Anarchy. The rest are great too, but those are must haves lol!
always baffeld by your work! any changes of sharing your mods playset?
Have you considered doing your script reads with a friend or family member? If you're self conscious about your monotone specifically, its a very normal thing to slip into when reading at a computer screen.
What can help is asking a familiar person to you to sit next to you, and you read the script to them. You take some short breaks to explain what it is you're about to speak about to your friend, so you therefor prime your brain on the vocabulary, and then you can get something closer to your normal speaking voice.
Hi, I love your work any chance that you're doing Sydney night 1? I was at the concert and it was amazing for my first PJ Concert.
what mods ru using for the graphics and what r ur color settings in it?
I think the city needs a huge power plant! With the realistic fuel delivery infrastructure (either coal, gas or nuclear)
Coal most likely…
I play it on GeForceNow so... no mods for me. I try to detail mostly with surfaces. We need fences and the ability to put decals anywere in vanilla, or reduce the hitbox of trees.
In CS1 was possible to trick Steam Workshop on GFN and it was just another way of playing.
Yeah i think they will add it sooner or later:)
3:29 two roads suddenly became perfectly parallel. How did you do that? ❤
For what's next. If it is even possible, what about a district or downtown like Chongqing's. All the buildings with diffrent terras floors at a diffrent hight.
Not yet the downtown but soon:)
It's very great building so that I don't know anymore how much your PC can survive it 😅
When you combine buildings like at 13:30 or 9:00, do any of those buildings stay functional and contribute to the city’s economy, or do they just become props?
I think it also would fit in the Region of the Rupot
What if you added a lowpass filter to the music track and made it go muddy with the chapter titles instead of lowering the volume and suddenly bring it back up?
Industrial area be like: How many stains do you want? All of them.
great build... but WHAT IS THAT at 24:52? 2 lanes CROSS the highway like that? that ruins the whole build with all those nice lanes
The issue with Cities Skyline is that services like Police & Fire should have much larger ranges as should almost other services in rural areas/ low density zones.
What map texture are you using? Any other graphics mods?
Do you use mods to increase graphic realism? If so, what mods do you use?
Yeah, the whole industrial zoning thing looks really weird. Obviously theres a lack of asset variety, but that seems an unsatisfying answer.
I hypothesize its originally a game design issue: the iconic city skylines 4x4 or 6x6 zoning tile system works great for denser urban styles. But falls short aesthetically when going for commercial box stores, large industrial zones, or even farms (though cs2 does have an interesting take on farms. Not sure if i love it, but its 1,000,000x better than cs1)
Having restrained zoning, detailing with parking lots and surfaces, or deliberately adding moded props and stuff add alot. But the zoning system doesnt accomate this very well for casual game, its not conducive or encourages this type of play.
Having some sort of procedurally generated filler between these types of buildings could fix it. moveit and findit should be vanilla so that the detailers can go crazy.
Alternatively having a larger zonable grid, but limiting residential sizes to 6x6 and keeping commercial/industrial to 12x12 or something might do the trick?
Cliff hanger for next episode, is there a big flyover or just a crossing 🤨
Do you have a list of mods that you are using anywhere?
A big park!! Please :)
When will they drop the low budget version to xbox sx? In 2099? But your city is dynamic
do you have a mod list you could share with us
Ich finde das das Kleeblatt auch eine 2 fache Trompete hätte sein sollen Platz passt dafür
What mods do you use?
imperatur x city planner plays when?
I have to skip past the intro cause I hate the total spoiler...sorry. Love this stuff though, thanks! My computer could never handle it
❤
Best CS2 creator. I think I’ll hop on Patreon and grab one of the save games 🏙️
"as you can see, we are making a lot of money" has me laughing as the city is slowly entering bankruptcy
Very slowly, but i had to laugh a bit too xd
But it went back into the positive a few minutes later, so propably only went down because of the stuff he placed
I am a vanilla one. Trying to respect the topography, with max 5° angles for roads (
Hello fellow civil engineer!
@@buggin33 go civil go
Brother build zoo or theme park
We don’t have that in cs2:(
What's your mod list?
great job, but i dont get it why you, and other as well, take the time to detail the ground texture to completely cover it with trees, we dont see what you did before, kinda silly
Your music taste killed me.
Wie wär’s wenn du alsnächstes ein Metrodepot baust
Oder ein 70 Jahre platten Bau
Wären Vorschläge
you should list and link all the mods.. plz
If that's how it's built, you don't wanna see mine...
This music is what girls get ready to lol
Why did you remove indonesian subtitles??
The limit is yourself XD
if nothing u want, make it yourself😁
tfw no "ciao ciao for now" 😢
Why did you get rid of the Tagalog 😢
I love the game. But unfortunately, my PC sweats even at low graphics settings.
Pollution is scared
Das ist auvch auf Englisch:-( Ich hatte mich gerade gefreut
Ich finde ohne Mods würde das Spiel Tod sein
Why so much cargo
Why not, its a big port for the whole region:)
it means that it'll be a big city
Because it’s a port city
With out Mod the Game would be death or
With this rate of improvement I will probably completely skip CS2 and I will hope that CS3 will switch to UE5. Unity is dead.
❤
