WTF is yall kids talking about, I been DJing for at least 17years. And you can have serato, traktor, VDJ or whatever but if you don't know what to play and how to mix your screwed whn it comes tiime to perform and he is a real DJ.
Actually DJ Prostyle uses this style no matter where hes at cuz ive seen him like three times in spanish clubs. But this style isnt bad though nd its not as easy as it looks. even though he talks over the transitions nd jus hits play there is still continuity nd what makes a great dj is hyping up a crowd and he clearly does that. BTW shorty in the pink is like 1 of the baddest chicks I ever seen
Everyone Dj has their way of Mixing Ya Digg? but Us Dj From New york or Jersey Like to talk to get the crowd hyped then play a song. and yes we blend music as well. but at the end of the day he brought in a crowd and had it going. Talk all you want. Deejaying not just about blending.
No disrespect to Pro style but the fact that this style of "Dj'ing" is whats popular really depresses me.... im only 30 but been djing for over 16 years .. we used to and still do mix and blend .... this stuff can be done with the serato offline player.. you dont even need the sl box. just put a cue point on the 1st beat and drop it in. when i used to go to webster hall back in the early 2000's people danced to the music not just stood around watching the dj scream on the mic all night .....
Hes using serato, but hes not really blending or mixing because i think hes using basically like pressing buttons to rock the party. Thats how easy these fuckin programs make it now to rock a party!!! Its crazy!
Im from the westcoast, out here we actually blend the music, im not hating though.... he's just slamming the music in, this is party rocking in a different way. He has all the people singing the songs. At the end of the day, all that matters is the people enjoying it. I agree though, if I was in the crowd I would wanna hear some of the songs a little longer.
@djfantom Dj Prostyle is a beast at mixing cutting blending, however he is catering to a west indie crowd on their weekend, and in the islands thats the style of djs they have there ,so prostyle gets 5 stars for this performance catering to a different demographic
He starts off strong, but loses the crowd b/c he ain't into it. I dont understand why he doesn't have a mic stand so his hands are free to um...mix maybe
I feel what you saying people standing around NOT dancing , NOT COOL. But its not prostyle's fault. If you know prostyle you know he cam mix and blend. It seems the Club really came to watch him, basically like a celebrity DJ. Really sad though.
the ladies in the front look depressed...lol......he tryin to dj dancehall style ain workin...we have energy, people feed off the djs energy, dont know what this is...yall need to b in ja to c what it really is....looks like he wasnt in the mood
Alot of nice djs in the business, but none puts it down like this dude!!! Prostyle is one of the most versatile
