The first (and only) time that I heard Yuja Wang being interviewed I actually cringed at some of the crude language that she sometimes uses. If she thinks that this is "Cool" she would do well to listen to interviews by ladies of the classical music world such as Martha Argerich or Mitsuko Uchida.

Yuja is such a sweet adorable human being
She plays so clean and makes the music flow so smoothly.
Exactly
All I can say is she is extremely genuine. No pretense, no showmanship. Just probably, the best piano player in the world. Ever.
Second best - I love Yuja Wang but Martha Argerich is still alive and playing.

Such a wonderful, fun, sweet person on top of her massive talent. :-)

Beautiful voicing between hands, just noodling around….fantastic
I love her so much!
Yuja...You're great.
hipocoristico15 . A sentiment that can never be contradicted, ever.
Yuja plays all composers superbly, not just Rachmaninoff.
SUPER SUPER BRAVA.....E SIMPATICA...💜

Ted Chaffman IKR!?!? Like... where is that final cadence!?!!?
Exactly!
@@androidkenobi It's missing the very last note of the concerto; I believe that's what Ted Chairman meant.

The question behind that is... why does she have to bow so friggin fast lmao
lovely video. I also do that finger stretching & teach my students..
Having a bunch of notes is not what makes the Rach 3 a great concerto even though pop culture may lead one to think that's the reason.
Yuja makes it great when she plays it :)
Why'd the video cut off the last note
Because the uploader can't edit properly.
When playing Rachmaninov, it must be hard to stop rushin’
omg
Not Wang as in bang or gang, but Wang as in gong or song..
hello everyone, shes my wife
Rachmaninov's 2nd piano concerto is harder to play than the 3rd.
Not!
I have heard some pianists say that, but the 3rd (comprising some 30,000 notes) is almost non stop for the pianist and requires an excellent memory and a lot of stamina.
Rachmaninoff says that but I find the 3rd is harder. It's subjective!
Marry me .....
The clip says she lives in America now.
Yuja Wang has a modest apartment in NYC, but calls San francisco her second home & will be in China for some time again as a teaching fellow.
