My favorite 60's car, maybe my favorite period. My neighbor had a silver convertible. Mint condition. My Father was given a silver hardtop as a loaner when his 73 Fury Police Interceptor was in the shop. My Dad was a CID Agent in the Army, so he could buy them from the dealer. I always was enamored with this year Skylark, with the cool spinner hubcaps. I did own a 67 Riviera and a 69 Electra 225 Convertible. Both 430 cars, not my favorite engine though. I preferred the nail head, or the 455. I had a Centurion Police Pursuit Car, from New Jersey. It was Black on Black with the 455. My 1st driving car, paid $100 for that from an old man who only wanted the new battery back. The Electra was always waiting for restoration, too much rust on the floor pan, had to give up the ghost because of the cost. It ran and drove great though. Paid $300 for that from a friend of the family who had a shop where it sat in the mud for decades.
