It's almost better to watch this in hindsight because you actually know what happened over the course of the last five years. It hasn't gotten better. It's gotten worse. Good grief... another interview with Barbra defending her search for perfection and excellence. I suppose it is her favorite topic -- that and talking about how her father died when she was still a child. A fatherless child it turned out.
Being a “Diva” is only allowing yourself to appear on camera when it’s capturing your “good side” … even if that means making the chat show host switch seats with you. Hmmmm … a Diva, yes, yes you are.
After everything she’s achieved, I’d say she’s earned the right to be as diva-ish as she wants. And that includes showing the side of her face that photographs best. When you achieve anything, you can be a diva too. It’s something to strive for.
She can sit wherever & say whatever & be whoever & not give a damn because she's earned it all & worked hard get whole life & if anyone doesn't like it that's just too godamn bad.
