Carving a pounamu koru

Heres a little insight into my carving process 👀
Carving a domed disc into a Koru.
Koru are one of my favorite designs to carve in pounamu. A representation of the unfolding fern the design holds a lot of symbolism, to me it represents regeneration, new beginnings, the path of live, perseverance and nature.
