Very interesting! The Santos Galbée 2319 is a nice once, automatic and guilloché dial.
As my wedding gift I bought myself a Solarbeat Large and Is hands down the most comfortable watch I own ! Plus is a timeless design , if my favorite boxer (Ali) my favorite actor (Jeff Goldblum) and favorite designer (Tom Ford) all use a Cartier tank , who am I to disagree.
Great video Cris! Love the brand. My most worn watch is a Santos Galbée ref.1565! Who cares if a lot of them are quartz powered, it's all about the design 😊
Thank you Donna! Cartier is killing it design wise for the past 100+ Years! We like sharing different models for people to understand that there is more than the usual 2-3 known models.
I’m looking to get the Tank MC and Dumont XL
Please follow me, I get these periodically. IG: Timemerchants
Cartier is on GOD Tier of all watch brand!
but scratch soooooo much
@@TheRealHawKing, no problem - builds character. LOL
Not while they get their movements elsewhere.
I3ts obvious YOUndon't KN0W squat about Cartier. Lol 😅
@@pormusic your comment is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. LOL. 🤣
❤panthere
🙏🙏🙏
The amount of clueless watch noobs in the comments is staggering. You people clearly aren’t watch enthusiasts. Go watch nico talk loudly about Rolex and Audemars Piguet. Cartier is a top tier watch maker with a rich history.
It will take years but we will surely try to give a new perspective to the market. Nico knows a lot but chose the path of entertainment. We will do our own thing and let whoever wants follow us.
Only the design is done by Cartier, they are actually produced by Ebel! Anyway, it’s a quality Swiss watch, all else is a question of personal taste & money 😅
@@arven67 very few movements were Ebel. The watch industry is a mix and match between movement fabricators and watch designers. Patek Philippe never made their own chronograph movements until the 2000's. They were using Lemania base calibers that they were modifying. Cartier used Ebel, Jaeger, ETA, Piaget and other movements to make and design their watches for decades. Their CPCP collection is unobtanium and their movements were insane. Doesn't make them less attractive in any way shape or form. Now they have inhouse movements and if you look at their watch prototypes, most other watch creators look like infants versus their creativity and inventions. So please follow for more....
Does Cartier actually create interesting movements, or is it all in their aesthetic? Don’t understand the value proposition for these watches. Would rather save a bit more to get a spring drive Grand Seiko.
Cartier has interesting inhouse movements as of the past decade and used in the past Piaget, JLC and other quality mechanics. They are not only looks.
I just don't understand why some pieces are so expensive for the quartz models. Plus, wouldn't people think it's a fake if they see the ticking seconds hand which the panthere has in this video?
Pantheres are quartz, so no, ticking doesn't change anything. Please look up the models and variations. This is what is cool about Cartier. You don't need to be a watch geek to enjoy their designs.
but is there a reason why some of their quartz models are stupid expensive?@@timemerchantsmtl
Cartier is great but scratches like hell sadly
Depends on which models, smaller models tend to hide well under the sleeves and less prone to be damaged/scuffed in a day to day activities
I've never been a cartier fan. I just don't connect with them.
There are so many different models, will do more videos as they come in. Some models are just extremely rare and understandably if you have never seen them in person you cannot connect with the product, new or old.
Hyped trash will always be trash, but their ladies watches are nice. Just over priced for what it is.
CLUELESS... lol 😂
Follow for more... I might change your mind.
