yeah this is great - ive got a small Dobby drone which has been great but the setup time and having to look at phone whilst controlling especiialy in brigght light makes it tough to work with an prone to accidents - i like the idea of the "personal drone" that is not going to go too far away and that you control with gestures making it more likely to take on shoots and trips - thanks for sharing!
Definitely getting the PROMAX model gonna release on Monday 27th , gonna be HUUUGE upgrade to this & Much more, lovin it👍😘🥂 To me looks like Flying selfie
The HoverAir X1 drone does have a form of obstacle detection, but it does not have an obstacle avoidance system. This means that the drone can detect obstacles in its path, but it will just stop moving or land if it does. Therefore, it is best to fly the drone in open spaces. Ensure a clean and obstacle-free environment when using the automatic flight mode. Be vigilant for the surroundings to prevent possible hazards; stop the flight if necessary. The HoverAir X1 supports automatic landing from the app and/or switching to manual mode.
How fast can it follow me? I’m running 8 minute a mile. Can it follow me into the woods like trials? I hope it doesn’t lost tracking me and stuck in a tree.
I’m surprised DJI didn’t release this drone, so you can have it take pictures and videos, what’s the final quality of both images looks like you have to edit it in their software then export it? First gen, can only imagine what this will be like in five years or so.
It’s about 11 mins of flight time. I’m unsure what you can fit in memory, but the way it’s designed to make short clips, I had tons of space left over.
I am not sure which country this video was recorded in but in the UK from the beginning of this year ALL free-flying drones and model aircraft require the flier to register with the Civil Aviation Authority. This is irrespective of the size of the craft.
I thought this was going to be an April Fools vid and was amazed at how much time you spent making up the packaging, etc. But then you just kept going and actually flew the thing.
"World's Easist Drone." Be sure to spellcheck the text on the thumbnails. Misspelled words on the thumbnails stand out most for me because it's the thing I see first.
This looks like something only meant to get video of the owner doing strictly vlogging & IG type social media. But if i need to get aerial shots of a building for architectural work, this won't cut it. I'll have to go DJI.
The era of ridiculous internet vanity has been awaiting these follow-hover drones for a while. At least people won't be holding selfie sticks much longer.
Very tempted to add one of these to my kit.
Now that is pretty darn cool!
Very cool and luv the compact size
I think its really useful for travel and getting quick shots
I have one and I really love it. Now with the gestures it is even more easy to do different shots/modes which save battery-life.
Glad you like it

VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!!!!
Excellent and informative, with only one important fact missing from the review. What's the battery life?
Does it have obstacle avoidance ? Could it follow me round the garden going through doors and alleyways etc ?

Samples are on the video in 4k. You download them and then you can edit in any app
can follows you while inside the car?
no
What is the flight time for one battery? Missed that info.
And how long can you record with 32Gb?

Here is USA, only over 250Grams. Then it's $5 to register for 3 years. How much are the fees there?

Yes, its a personal drone, not designed for real estate and stuff. I have review on other drones for that on my channel.
