Nope it is one of the best performers of all time videos from RUclips. For one reason and one reason only his voice he did a live performance better than a recorded performance. Because in recording session you can't really be yourself everyone tries too hard to not make a mistake that's why there's several takes. When Elvis sings Live he puts his heart and soul into every song he does that's what sells records. There's only one Elvis.

That's, the thing about Elvis, he could interpets a songwriter or singer s song, and often times sound equally as beautiful, maybe more beautiful
But Elvis never deliberately set out to better the original, he was just being respectful to the song and song writer, and he put his soul into it. I think songwriters would appreciate that.
As a songwriter you wanted Elvis to record your songs because he'd would take it to a another level.
This is a super improvement even on the incredible original. Finally the Royal Philharmonic hit a home run backing the greatest voice in world history.

@@HellNoKamala, the original is there! Its a lot more than wind instruments, a good solid orchestration. Horses for courses though, but i think the Royal Phil arrangement is poor.
