ying is such a simple and beautiful woman. carrying a baby around esp when travelling aint easy but ying makes it look effortless. you and micah are so lucky to have her. more power!
Yup yup! I was actually feeling for Ying as she has to be the one to care for Micah and we all know it's not easy caring for a baby, much less overseas! But! I'm sure Mark is a good and gentlemanly husband who'll carry more of the luggage so that Ying can focus more on looking after Micah. What a lovely husband and wife team!
Aloha Mark. I was raised in Hawai'i but born in Japan and lived there for 7 years. My Japanese mom took me everywhere via train which I LOVED riding on. One of my favorite things back then was the bento box lunches sold at the train stations except back then in the early to mid 1960s the boxes were still made of wood, and the old bento vendors would push their carts around loaded with bento boxes walking along the track calling "O bento, o bento!" My mom would let me select my lunch and she would pay the man and receive our box lunches right through the open window of the train car. I wouldn't recognize the place now.
Mark now has over 8 million subscribers and it is well deserved. His programmes are excellent and very well researched. It is obvious a lot of work goes into them .He is such a cheerful nice guy and his wife Ying and son Micah are great supports to him in his travels for food.We travel with them wherever they go.
Ying (& now Micah) always appear so relaxed. They take Mark's work/expeditions in their stride. In fact I think they very much add to the videos. A video by Mark isn't complete with at least one shot of Ying coming into view with a big beaming smile.
I love how when people see Micha they always smile no matter what even on the current videos. When he was a infant everyone was so excited and happy to see him, most people do not travel like Mark and his family. One lucky 🍀 kid, and Mark is one Lucky guy to have Ying♥️♥️♥️
You know what you are an inspirations to the thousands of your subscribers to travel abroad and explore things and foods and all before i even dont thought of travelling out of india but after watching each of your vlog i decided to visit diffrent places and countries...thanks to your vlog and yes your spirit to travel countries with diffrent languages.thanks will keep watching till you keep posting 😉😉😉
Indeed, I couldn't agree more! Very inspirational, knowledgable with provoking thoughts in some way as well.......This is the best I have ever watched!
mark, i have had depression for over 10 years now and there are a few coping mechanism - one is your videos these past 1 year i love watching you and your whole family travel, eat and simply enjoying life. it's very therapeutic to me and i look forward to your new channel :)
I recently started watching RUclips and I just happened to hit street food in Japan and when I first saw your face Mark I said to myself oh my goodness he looks so hungry and skinny that it kept me watching every show and then I saw your wife you're beautiful wife with that beautiful smile and then I saw the baby came along I am so in love with your family and I am very happy with your show I support it I love it I look forward to seeing you every single day please don't stop
Hey Mark, I did the same journey last year and had the same bento on the train! I enjoyed it very much as well. Hakone was my favourite place in Japan. I hope you all have great time. Absolutely love your videos btw.
Hey! I love this guy! He always seems so happy eating and the look on his face expresses delight! Also he is very clear and concise in explaining what he is doing and eating! GOOD JOB MARK WEIS!
Hey, mark i am huge fan of you and your videos. Every times when i am fooding at home or others , i try to practice same face which you do while trying foods. Best of luck and keep it up.
Happy to have landed on this channel. I've a preconceived notion that youtube stars vlog for fame and/or money, but Mark and his wife seem to be genuine and down-to-earth people who just want to share their experiences to the world. It doesnt hurt that they are totally relatable (flying economy, staying in airbnbs, buying from convenience stores) 😊 Liked and subscribed! More power, Mark!
Respect to you, mark, for creating enjoyable content whilst staying true to yourself. Congrats on your success so far and may you sustain what you've grown.
Mark, that was so brilliant of you to put the camera in another seat so that both you and Ying and Micah could be filmed a little. A whole new perspective from a different angle. Cool! 💙
I always have admiration for the Japanese way if doing things...such care taken with aesthetics and comfort. Facinating about Japan. Thanks Mark and Ying for giving us a glimpse of Japan

Just loving your shorter and more informal vlogs. Ying's smile is contagious and Micah is cute as a button. My wife and I recently discovered a nice Japanese restaurant about 20 miles away where we can buy Bento boxes to take home. So delicious!
Mark your a greedy devil & poor Ying as to wait to eat. But I love it as it is but please get Micah a pushchair because Ying is going to suffer with her back. Maybe when Micah is just a bit older we will see him eat things off you pair. Thank you all for making these blogs as enjoy them so much. Yvette England xx
Ying is a wonderful lady..She looks so supportive.. Seriously Mica and you are very lucky to have such a lovely wife.. Kudos to women power!!! God bless you all

I have just recently discovered your videos and I must say being land-locked in Oklahoma, USA I actually feel like I'm on a mini vacation to areas of the world I will probably never see in person. Keep up the good work and thank you and your family.

They are still young, got the energy to do all that.
+Bonit you are so ignorant! You obviously don't have children of your own! Smh!
Traveling overseas with a baby takes a good amount of skill and patience. Vlogging the trip with the baby takes it to another level. Good Job.

Sushi you had is called oshizushi with Horse mackerel. The fish was cured by salt and marinated in vinegar. This is original form of sushi.
speedbird006 horse 🐴
So cool, traditionally we do the same to herring around here. Mackerel is usually smoked.
One of most positive food bloggers I have seen in a while 😊. Just look out for that big Cheshire Cat smile 🤟
Great video Mark, love the spinoff vlog's now we have more content spread over the weeks to watch. Hope to catch up with you once you come to Dubai
Thank you hasher, will let you know about the Dubai trip.
He has certainly taught me to enjoy whatever food is served to me
japanese food is amazing. what the average standard is there, is higher level standard in other countries.
True about that, such care in everything.
worth the price!
Agreed! Even mediocre chained restaurants at train stations still taste so delicious to me.
That's why they have the lowest obesity rates in the world.
agreee....
Best thing about Mark is that he always travel with his family. Thumbs up for that Mark
That baby 👶🏻 got some cool parents. What a life. 🤙🏽

Just loving your shorter and more informal vlogs. Ying's smile is contagious and Micah is cute as a button. My wife and I recently discovered a nice Japanese restaurant about 20 miles away where we can buy Bento boxes to take home. So delicious!
10:51 Micah looks upset that his parents aren't giving him any food. 😀
Revina Que hahahahaha
I know he actually is! We have to hold him back because he wants to taste the big food already!
Revina Que I can see that 😆😆
Micah will be the most travelled adorable baby in the whole world. That kid is so blessed for having parents like you and Ying 💗😉

Was it really worthy paying 10$ for that cold and soggy looking beef and rice meal box?
ramarjun mahabharatham it's Ekiben, most ekiben stores sell already prepped bento boxes. And unless you got an oven stowed in your pocket while your sitting on a speeding train, you can't always have everything fresh and hot.
