Torsion springs may not be model accurate, but it always works so much better than the spring type, very good, just needs some hull magnets!! Nice one Stanley!!
Always cracks me up seeing those tanks sneeze when they fire their main Cannon... Ya know... Slooow recoil followed by a fast reset instead of a fast recoil followed by a slow reset 😆

Now, I'm scratching my head and trying to figure out what the top 3-pronged connection on the base of the gun barrel on the turret is for? Any ideas? It's not mentioned in the manual. Heng Long really did an impressive job with this tank. Looks like it comes standard with a lot of the parts that would be upgrades for their other tanks.
Can you tell us more about the new turret motor? When you turned it manually it didn’t make the loud clicking the older one makes. Thank you for reviewing this version.

Why oh why torsion bar, I was Looking forwards to building one of these, but it’s such a cock up from the original I just don’t want one, and the rest of it looks great! 🤦♂️ And the recoil units make conversion sooo easy now, so that’s great. Thanks again for a very entertaining vid 👍
8:10 When I get my hands on an HL tank with that recoil system I always disable it outright. It looks bloody stupid and the end result of just fixing the barrel looks far better than the bow-and-arrow bullshit Heng Long does ever did. Got a 7.0 T-34/85 on order I'm gonna have to do that to and I may be getting an HL 7.0 KT that I'll have to disable it on depending on whether or not I decide to go with the HL or Mato on that specific tank.,

I’m a member of the Irvine RC Tank club and prefer the Heng Long over the Torro due to the number of more options you can do with the Heng Long over the Torro system. Thank you

Too bad that the tank's turret doesn't turn a full 360°, because of the wires inside of it are connected to the battery, etc.
Do you know if you can replace the torro board and radio for a heng long radio and board?
It's possible, but some wiring is needed.
