FYI We had people cutting through and kicking down a board fence at the doctor's office where I worked. The only way I could stop them (and stop buying new fence boards) was to plant a row of thorny rose bushes in front of the fence so they couldn't even get close to it. Good luck. Love from London, ON 🇨🇦

From a garden center manager who enjoys following you: Your ferns would be happy in LOTS of shade... you might move them so that they are under the porch, but a sun-loving plant would perform much better (lantana is heat and drought tolerant and is very colorful). The ferns would be much happier out under the pines. It is almost impossible to overwater as the pots have a drain hole in the bottom. Daily water is a must, and twice daily is even better if it is hot AND windy. Keep up the good work !!

I doubt with small children you have the time to read all of your comments, but I will leave one anyway. You are indeed blessed! Lovely home, lovely family, and a new baby on the way. I adore your entire family!! Your hard work shows. Having family to help you along is so wonderful. May your blessings continue. God is so good. Hugs... Forgot to say something about your ferns. They need a lot of moisture. Maybe you should move them to a sunny place in your bathroom. I am not a expert, but have tried to grow them myself. Believe me, they do not do well in the desert in Las Vegas, NV. lol! Hugs...

You do beautiful work Jessa. You and the "DIY Wife" should do a collab. You're a natural construction expert. So glad you're getting things fixed the way you want them with your handy family. ❤🎉

Jessa, you have a great area now for a veggie garden. That would be a great part of school for all the littles. The whole house/yard project came out fantastic!

I water my hanging ferns at least 1x a day till water runs out the bottom of the plant. They’re sure to stay nice and green that way. If it’s over 100 temps then maybe 2x a day.
Love all your diys! Wish I had your know how❤️

I guess he has never seen a women taking care busy! LOL! My sister and I love you and your family. your house looks beautiful ! We are waiting for your next adventure! Glad that you took some time to spend with your family and get some rest. We could not believe how much the children had grown over the spring and summer. ❤️

Jessa, I love how you let your kids go barefoot outside. I did, too, as a child, and I still do as an adult. There's nothing like feeling fresh grass in between your toes.

I grew up on a gravel road and went barefoot. I had serious calluses until I moved out of the area.
