- Learn "The Collier's", a common session tune, with Tunes From Doolin. This tune, which is also used in outro of my recent videos, was requested by "Jim Anon" on RUclips.
“The Collier’s” is a common session tune and one of my favourite reels. I associate this tune with the great Tommy Peoples, but also with my friend John "Fitz" Fitzpatrick, who is a great local whistle player here in Doolin with a style that reminds me very much of Micho Russell. I recorded this tune with my friend JB Samzun on our album “Aughavinna” which we released in 2020.
