    Two accordions,
    Two fiddles,
    One banjo,
    One guitar,
    One damn good time!

This is the generation that provided the impetus in the 50s and 60s ...and the way they played...before commercialisation.

I know in Canada here, especially the east coast, this fine music is still played by the younger and older generation. It's passed down by their elders and I for one am glad it is because there is no finer music in this world. The Fitzgerald's are amazing Celtic musicians.

Very sorry to have learned (from the comments below) that Paddy Fitz has gone to his eternal rest. He lives on in the heart and soul of his music which this series of videos - shot at the Corkman Pub, Carlton Melbourne - makes manifest. So far away and yet so near.

Excuse me, John McGann, but the "Toss the Feathers" the Corrs played was "Toss the Feathers I ", not this one, which is "Toss the Feathers III". There are three different "Toss the Feathers".

They play Sonny Brogan's Toss the Feathers, as opposed to The Clare Toss or The Corrs' Version.

What tuning are the boxes being played by Joe and Paddy?

Usually D and G. Look like Hohners to me. Some players later preferred three row Paollo Sopranis.

Great music but nobody does justice to Toss The Feathers like the Corr's. They put life into it.
