I brought a original 100ml DHI bottle of 2008 (8X01) for a bargain. Same bottle with the silver neck and black atomizer without CD logo. Is the 2008 version like the 2007 version?
My 2009 batch is 100ml and has "Dior" embossed at the bottom part of the stem. The 2013 is 150ml size and it doesn't have any embossing on the stem inside the bottle.
The reason im here is becaue I just bought a Dior Homme and the package was flawless but the smell was a bit off. I realzed because i had this fragrance before. So i went with the bottle to the shopping center...when i sprayed the original on my hand it was evident i got a knock off. But the flask was exactly the same. As if they just re-filled with a cheap perfume....watch out

Fakes go for the vintage versions of the fragrances they copy. That is how the vintage CH Men looked, had many "CH" letter written inside the central console. Yes, CH Men has been reformulated. You can tell just by the esthetics of the boxes. If you see a box that looks different than the initial one than it means it has been reformulated.
I got it from an individual, he had it in his house for years and forgot about it. I payed the equivalent of 43 USD for it, you just don't find offers like this one, didn't check Ebay but I know sellers ask crazy amounts of money for this vintage.

I've seen fakes of Crystal Noir of the 90ml. I didn't pay much attention to it so I can not share with you how to spot a fake on this. 1 Million will be presented on my channel. The Intense version of 1 Million is also beeing faked. I think I will do this episode somewhere in september, I do not have 1 Million real and no fake as well at this point. I would like to film the other fakes I have.
I've seen fake from Aqva line but at this moment I do not own Aqva Amara so I can buy a fake to shoot a video. This is the 75ml bottle. - 9K01 batch with the new bee on the front of the box (2020 style), it still has the formula number 08642/A. This is the new 100ml bottle. I did not test any of those, I just saw the info on the boxes.

You can not detect a fake by the batch code. There are fakes that have batch codes, but that does not mean anything. The batch code is the easiest thing to copy from authentics to fakes.
No one has better atomizers than Dior... Even among some niche brands. Dior is at the top! And F##K IT, I am a fanboy!!! Lol... How can one not be, Dior is absolute quality.

+Islam Fouad The formulas for the vintages are different for different fragrances, Dior Homme vintage from 2005 has a different number than Dior Homme Sport from 2008 or Fahrenheit from 1988 for example. The number must be done in chronological order, so Fahrenheit must have a smaller number as a formula than the fragrances that were released later after it. I have fakes for Fahrenheit vintage and Dior Homme, they do copy the entire info that was on the boxes of the authentics so they have the original vintage formula's number. I will check this out and let you know.

The way this works I explained in the previous video "Dior Homme Reformulation" , check in the description of that video the chapter starting 13 : 11, when Dior Homme Parfum came out it made sense to reformulate Dior Homme Intense and Dior Homme because they are in the same category. When Sauvage Sport, Sauvage Parfum or Sauvage Absolute or whatever it will be called will be released on the market, then it would make sense to reformulate the Sauvage EdT that was the initial release from this category. It would be either this fact or facts concerning legislation that could change the formula it has at this point. I will check out the number of the formula from my box and get back to you.

The batch is good, it should be from march 2009. Check the way you can understand batch codes from Dior in my previous video. Go there and in the description of my previous video click the timeline so it can take you straight to that chapter.

There are different fakes made by different pirates. Watch out that not all look like mine, mine is easier to spot. There are some that have the bottle look like the authentic, same color on glass and same silver neck of the atomizer.
+Michael Jimenez It is bad quality, but you must buy it first to open the box and take a look at it, if you would see pictures of it sealed, on Ebay or other sites, you would surely say it is authentic, plus the batch code checks out so watch out for this point of view.

You can not detect a fake by the batch code.

I buy the fakes just for the purposes of the videos. I don't do anything with the fakes after the video. I will probably destroy them
oh I figured you threw them away or kept them for later videos to refer back to them. you must spend a lot of money on fakes for the videos.

@@tattoofun2003 Nice! I own plenty of fragrances as well, but the Dior Homme line has touched my heart deeply. Soon I will get the 2008 and 2012 Dior Homme Sport and the vintage Dior Homme Cologne.

The batch is good, it should be from march 2009. Check the way you can understand batch codes from Dior in my previous video. Go there and in the description of my previous video click the timeline so it can take you straight to that chapter.

+Karl Emil Bach Some fakes copy the batches from the authentics and other fakes just make up the batch codes without any logic and they won't check out.

There are different fakes made by different pirates. Watch out that not all look like mine, mine is easier to spot. There are some that have the bottle look like the authentic, same color on glass and same silver neck of the atomizer.

+Michael Jimenez It is bad quality, but you must buy it first to open the box and take a look at it, if you would see pictures of it sealed, on Ebay or other sites, you would surely say it is authentic, plus the batch code checks out so watch out for this point of view.
