Tried DHI last week and kept a strip in a drawer (yes) and my rooms still filled with this softy smoky melted white chocolate accord. I dont think this perfume will be often wearable in Rio de Janeiro, but... 100ml ordered. :D

I threw a sampler of this in with a few to get free shipping on a website. When i recieved the package i was spraying all of them on testers, and went to make food to wait for drydown, but i kept getting wiffs of one specific fragrance over ALL of them from across the room and kept catching my attention. Of course, it was DHI. Day 2, i had thrown away all of the testers and was still catching wiffs of it. Just from the tester sitting on a wood shelf the wood had absorbed enough to still smell. This was about a week ago and i can still smell the spot that it was sitting. amazing stuff, truly.

It reminds me of my childhood, when I used to draw with crayons. I also feel very happy while using it! I don’t know why yet, but there’s something on it that makes me feel confident, sexy, mysterious, empowered and ready to “save the world”! It also embraces myself, making me feel comfortable and safe, ready to put on my pyjamas and drink a delicious hot chocolate! @@sherkhanftw7579 It has above average performance and would last a working day without reapplying, if your spray properly. It's the best option anyway. The EDT 2011 would be too soft and the Parfum too heavy. I recommend the Intense, both the 2011 and the 2020 formulations.
@@sherkhanftw7579 ADG Profumo is a darker evening/night version of the original with a smoky cigarette-like accord on top of the aquatic one. Dior Homme is a dark powdery woody floral with a metrosexual lipstick vibe. It's up to you to decide which one you would enjoy more.

I tested Prada L'Homme, and Dior Homme Intense these days. I couldn't stand Prada L'Homme (tested twice, different days), after one hour I wanted it out of my skin, and I was surprised by it because it was always described to me as a "not offensive office/every day smell". Then I tested DHI, and man... what a gorgeous fragrance... every single time I smelled my arm I closed my eyes in total relaxation... Never smelled something so conforting before. I mentioned Prada L'Homme because I've heard people comparing those two before.

Dior Homme Intense is really a fragrance of great creativity, complicity and conflict, for it smells feminine and soft in the opening, powdery, lipsticky, but when it comes to the mid and base, the masculine facet kicks in, the whole thing becomes musky, leathery and woody. For what’s mentioned above, Dior Homme Intense shows the elegance and power of modern gentleman.
Dior Homme is almost disgusting to me, but Dior Homme Intense is amazing. One of my favorites. Random thought, I really miss Gucci Envy, why did Gucci ever discontinue such a lovely frag?

As for some content idea, I hope you will take a look at the Essenze collection from Ermenegildo Zegna a very underrated house in my opinion (Indonesian Oud, Florentine Iris, Javanese Patchouli are some of their best scents). I think you will appreciate their craftsmanship and truly enjoy them on a personal level.
My travel sample came in today along with side effect and prada lhomme. Side effect reminds me of 540. Was expecting the prada to be a little better. I love this. Bought a bottle after a couple sprays of the sample. Excellent fragrance

After seeing your review i took a good old sniff of it at the airport and applied it for the flight to Mexico which was 11.5 hrs. I could still smell it when we landed, and 3 people said how good I smelt on the plane which was great. I've just ordered a nice 150 ml bottle of it as a nice addition to my collection, and I can't wait to smell it again. There are three or four reviewers whose thoughts I value highly, but of those, Aaron is the one who displays unmistaken passion and an apparent level of refined technical evaluation.
I’ve had testers or the original and intense this week. I really want to try the edp and will probably blind buy it. But, I’ve got probably 50+ bottles, some cheap, some mega bucks, but this fragrance, instantly, on its first sniff, perfect. My favs are always not sweet or sickly, kind of blokey, but not too over the top. I loved it and the only thing I’d change is to add leather, which is why I’d blind buy the EDP and will probably buy this as well. To be honest I was surprised that I had no mulling over period with it. I’ve had Sauvage Elixir for over a week now and I’m still not sure, but this was an instant keeper and buy another as a just in case.
As far as I know, there is actually iris in this scent? But yeah, Dior Homme Intense is absolutely beautiful. I wear it at least once a week (I have a lot of fragrances, so once a week is a lot for me lol). I very much enjoy your take on it.
You’re missing out! Dior Homme (pre 2020) and DHI are absolute kings and you’ll find one or the other in everyone’s top 10 lists. The new Dior Homme from 2020 is also making waves.

I only have 32 fragrances, and Dior Homme Intense is absolutely stunning. Their really is a lipstick presence to it, and it just works. I made a blind purchase and no regret. Six sprays are all you need from 2am till 1pm of work. You just listened to Aaron speak highly about this fragrance if you're leaning on the fence to make the purchase. Please make the purchase.

I have only tried this on a test strip and I got massive Prada L'homme vibes (i loved it). When on skin, how would say it differs from the Prada. ( I'm back in lock down) lol haven't been to a large shopping mall since I tried all the Dior's on testers.

This is one of my favorites. Unfortunately Dior says iris doesn’t sell in America so it’s not sold in stores here at all. We also only get the 2020 formulation of Dior Homme.

DHI is undoubtedly in my top five favourite perfumes. The iris note is absolutely gorgeous. And I think your Homme reminds me of this.

There are three or four reviewers whose thoughts I value highly, but of those, Aaron is the one who displays unmistaken passion and an apparent level of refined technical evaluation.
I’ve had testers or the original and intense this week. I really want to try the edp and will probably blind buy it. But, I’ve got probably 50+ bottles, some cheap, some mega bucks, but this fragrance, instantly, on its first sniff, perfect. My favs are always not sweet or sickly, kind of blokey, but not too over the top. I loved it and the only thing I’d change is to add leather, which is why I’d blind buy the EDP and will probably buy this as well. To be honest I was surprised that I had no mulling over period with it. I’ve had Sauvage Elixir for over a week now and I’m still not sure, but this was an instant keeper and buy another as a just in case.
As far as I know, there is actually iris in this scent?
But yeah, Dior Homme Intense is absolutely beautiful. I wear it at least once a week (I have a lot of fragrances, so once a week is a lot for me lol). I very much enjoy your take on it.

You’re missing out! Dior Homme (pre 2020) and DHI are absolute kings and you’ll find one or the other in everyone’s top 10 lists. The new Dior Homme from 2020 is also making waves.
Youre right it never really comes off, my favorite part is after wearing it all day then taking a shower the next morning it wakes up again with the sweet musk almost chocolately

I smelled it on a date. I fell in love. With the perfume, not the date. Ordered a travel size for myself today. I'm a women...and French 😁. I want to see how it goes on my skin and if I get compliments. Defenitely my type of perfume

This perfume is a masterpiece, its not easy to perfect an iris male perfume, whoever made this is a genius

I only have 32 fragrances, and Dior Homme Intense is absolutely stunning. Their really is a lipstick presence to it, and it just works. I made a blind purchase and no regret. Six sprays are all you need from 2am till 1pm of work. You just listened to Aaron speak highly about this fragrance if you're leaning on the fence to make the purchase. Please make the purchase.

Thanks Aaron!! I'm so buying this. I have the 2011 version, but I think they've improved on that ever so slightly.
To be honest, 2011 is a bit deeper and intensive more, but this new version or "batch" is freshner and lighter in a good way!

I have only tried this on a test strip and I got massive Prada L'homme vibes (i loved it). When on skin, how would say it differs from the Prada. ( I'm back in lock down) lol haven't been to a large shopping mall since I tried all the Dior's on testers.
The longevity is very good, but the projection drops off or anosmia sets in quick, requiring some heat to take off.

Is this a cold weather fragrance?
@@saintsfan0499 No. In the winter it's waxy and thick, in the warmer months it's airy, powdery, woody and a bit sweet. Gets me compliments always in the summer.

I had one blind buy and performance are great for summer and office projection 10/10 longevity 10/10
This is one of my favorites. Unfortunately Dior says iris doesn’t sell in America so it’s not sold in stores here at all. We also only get the 2020 formulation of Dior Homme.
My homme does really well in USA. But I do really heavy fragrance which does well
@@AaronTerenceHughes the original Dior Homme is well loved in the fragrance community and I think your Homme helped fill a hole some of us were feeling. Yours is definitely more buttery and smooth though.
