Thanks for not mentioning that holding down the volume, home, and power buttons causes a HARD RESET. I just wiped out my entire phone. Thanks a lot. Praying my photos and videos are on the SD card.

It causes a hard reset which resets the system, this doesn't affect any personal data... If your data is gone it was probably related to the main problem why the phone didn't turn on in the first place...

I was on my s6 like normal and then it just started getting super hot to the
point I had to put it down and then it just cut off.
After that it wouldn't do nothing not even charge, so i bought a new battery for it

Hello and thanks for the video, my galaxy S7 turned off when trying to factory reset and I am left with blue LED on. Island Gaming About 10-15 seconds and my S6 just restarted working as intended(no longer has the full black screen),pressed sound up and down,the middle one and the unlock screen one at the same time.Good luck,hope it works 4 u.

No... These are just shortcuts that do a soft or hard reset without personal data being deleted. (It sets the system back to a previous point)

Si esto no resulta puede deberse al circuito regulador de voltaje de la pantalla o algún problema en el conector de la pantalla. Esto se identifica con el aumento de de temperatura en esa parte del circuito. Pero es necesario abrir el equipo para revisar el calentamiento inadecuado del circuito.

Tips on fix if this didn´t work. No "Voila" here on my phone trying this, but it actually worked on my friends phone so thank you so much for the video.
