Evan. You a bad man!! Love your work, been watching your videos trying to improve. Stared using renegade best stuff in the world. Ive buffed in chilly temps like 35 40 degrees but not even am I crazy enough to try at 18 lol!! Again love watching and learning new things. PS your pretty much the best out there lots of guys way out here in the booneys know ya! Thanks for the tips sir
The coldest I tell people to polish is 50 degrees. That not 50 degrees air temp but 50 degrees metal temp. I have had people tell me products dont work and it was because the metal was too cold. I open toolbox doors to allow the cold air to escape as that trapped air can hold that door cold for an extended period of time. You are correct when you say temp is key. The hotter the metal the more it "flows" during polishing and the better the finish
So am I understanding correctly, it's now July. Giving the aluminum time to cool in the evenings after driving is not necessary? The hotter the aluminum, the better? What about direct sunlight, does it cause hash marks when polishing as it does on paint?
Thank you for all your information I bought 6 use trailer 24.5s For project I am doing and so far there coming out pretty good Maybe I will have the concept down by the 6th one since I'm polishing both sides. Stay filthy Because if your not filthy or not rich
Normal weather for me in Mississippi lol. I got so use to polishing in the heat that when it dropped to 60 I didn't know what to do. I drove around the block a few times to get some heat in the wheels before I polished.
Love watching your videos. Have helped me so much here in Colorado do our truck. You have a gift and keep up the videos! What respirator cartridges do you like to use?
Dude... I just cried laughing when you sounded like Kenny on southpark!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 That was highly entertaining! Thank you for everything you do for us!!!
I just did my semi and it was about 101 in the shop. But it came out great. Footnote my employer was pissed off that I did it when I was done. Can someone explain that to me because his reaction blew my mind. If I had a driver come in on his own time and do that to my truck I’d love it.
If people had trouble understanding you while inside the respirator, they haven't watched enough videos yet. You were crystal clear
Lol. Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.
That's why you so good ,,being humble and doing a good job
Truly appreciate that.
That was a great question, thanks for taking the time to answer.
Glad to help. Thanks for watching.
What will if you tired to polish in the cold
This guy is a master that’s for sure
Thank you. I'm no master by any means but I try hard and dig into why things do what they do.

agreed. Thanks for watching and supporting.
Awesome video
Thank you brother
Keep up the videos!! Love them!
I’ll try to keep em coming.
Another banger 🤙
You should polish in 100 degree heat with 60% humidity. Gotta keep the compound in the shade or you’ll have a puddle instead of a bar
Been there done that in Texas and in Florida. Lol.

@@moosey1978 Sounds right... LOL
Thank u
Welcome
How cold is too cold would 32 degrees or so be ok if that's the only choice you have. Thanks for the info.
It cuts hard anything under 45 Fahrenheit.
Centerplate Extension Kit not available yet when would you have it??
Thank you!
Great stuff!!
Franco J our centerplates will be off backordered soon.

Thank you! You can find them on our website www.goshineon.com
That's all well and good if you have a wheel in good condition if im wrong please advise
Temperature affects all metal of all condition. Even sanding is more difficult in the cold.

Some guys don't wanna look flashy. Keep pride in your ride. Someone will appreciate that someday.

WHATEVER MAKES YOU HAPPY IS ALL THAT MATTERS.
4:55 Charlie Brown fans would be proud.
LOL exactly. Thanks for watching,
New guy looking to do a little on the side, but I was wondering how do you know when the buff is full of compound(when to add compound as well)
I go by feel and sight but I will post a video of that soon. Thank you.
Do you have a video on how to polish the holes in the wheels?
we only have one video that talks about it but we have a video coming soon on how to.
Can cut the whole wheel with brown then come with green or does it have to be stages?
You can stop at whatever stage you are happy with.
where can i get the buff wheels and rogues
Goshineon.Com/shop has everything .
What is the audio music in this video
no idea tbh
2:13 to 2:20 very helpful , thank you lol
Lol thanks for watching.
DO YOU USE YOUR PHONE TO EDIT OR YOUR COMPUTER
I edit with my computer buddy.
How cold is to cold to hand polish aluminum?
Anything below 50 degrees in my opinion. You can do it colder but it’s a ton of work and hand polished doesn’t hold up well on cold.
IS IT OK TO BUFF THE RIMS THAT HAVE A PROTECTION COATING ON THEM?
Going to need to sand off the coating if you want a mirror shine
You would need to remove the coating first.
Who drew your logo with the semi? I've been wanting to make shirts with my company logo like that.
Which one?? The one in my profile pic?
@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing Yeah I've been wanting a pic made up like that for me and I can't find anywhere
Who is the camera guy
Me. I do all my own camera work for the most part.
How was that polishing in the cold
Sucked
Why did you do that
