    Thank you so much for making this. So many videos about the 200 x s are either unboxing or reviews, but very few practical videos talking about what it can do! I just got mine today, and I'm excited to play with it!

    Thanks, great vid. Subscribed. I'm an experienced photographer but a videography newbie with much to learn. I bought an Amaran 200xS light recently and was so impressed I bought another two, plus a battery box to power one light with 2 V-mount cells. I'm excited to see how I can create good 'believable' lighting scenarios, so hope you will be showing a little more of your 'gaffing' skills in future vids.

    Great video! Thanks for showing what each set up looked like before and after, and giving the context of what it was like.

    Hi! Great video! Compared to the amaran 150c would u still recommend the 200x to someone buying their first light?

    • @thejosebravo
      @thejosebravo  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks! If you don't need the full power of the 200x then the 150c is a good versatile option. But if what you need is power then I'd go for the 200x. It all depends on what type of projects you are planning on using it for. I wished I had gone for the 300c which has the best of both worlds but it was a bit out of my budget haha.

    Is the SmallRig 120 softbox not too big for the Amaran 200x? Can the plastic mount withstand this load?

    • @thejosebravo
      @thejosebravo  6 месяцев назад +3

      No it's not too big at all. I was scared of this when I first bought the Amaran, but the locking system is a lot stronger than it looks. It doesn't even budge when I use it with the SmallRig softbox.

    I just got two of them with softboxes. Do you think that'll be a pretty decent amateur filmmaking lighting setup?

    • @thejosebravo
      @thejosebravo  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it's a great kit to begin with! I recommend trying out different set ups with them and trying to replicate scenes you like, that way you'll learn to use their full potential. These lights are super versatile, I wish I had something like that when I first started out.
