Lucky young man to travel Upper class with Virgin at your age! I had to wait until I was 45 before my first flight. Stumbled upon your video as my Wife and I are travelling from London Heathrow to St Lucia in March 2024 on the A330-300. Thank you for taking the time to create this and share.
BA is supposed to be our flagship carrier, but we think VA is by far the better option. Many years flying economy to MCoy to visit the mouse then as my business grew upgraded to PE which is fantastic. Then finally for the last 4 years Upper to Jamaica. The Upper to MCO or Tampa is always overpriced mind. If you’re flying out of LHR you have the Virgin lounge to enjoy as well. Fantastic airline and flight crew are 2nd to none. :) As a side note if you arrive in Upper before midday Virgin also have a refresh lounge so you can grab a shower and some brekkie before cracking on.
Great video! I love flying Virgin to the UK ❤. Usually I am in Premium Economy but when I earn enough miles I’m up front. The food and service have always been really good.
First time seeing one of your videos. On Oct 27 I will be flying DL’s inaugural MCO-LHR flight. I’m turning g around and coming back on DL’s inaugural LHR-MCO flight. I almost decided not to do the Inaugural return and try Virgin Atlantic. But, I’ll do my 2 inaugurals and do Virgin next time. I’ve heard incredible reviews of them.
Yes, I went on virgin Atlantic before and it is a 999/10, I don’t remember much because I was 6 and I am now 12, but I gonna fly with them in summer but I definitely know the the crew was the nicest, the food was amazing and the landing was so good they definitely deserve #1
We were searching upper class on the A330 and came across your video… such a coincidence as we were on this exact flight to Manchester from Orlando 🤣 I was at the start of your video!! Haha Thanks for all the great info on upper class, we were only in economy on this one!
Cannot disagree more - the best aspect of our flight in this configuration was the staff - from the lounge to the plane - they were excellent. Virgin proved that you do not fly to get good food - it was at best mediocre - brown smoked salmon and inedible overcooked pasta. Eye balling your fellow passengers across the aisle is disconcerting especially as one is throwing up onto the floor. Instead of a rolling service for food is was haphazard with the staff walking up and down serving passengers randomly. You had to wait till everyone had finished before yo7 get to sleep. No real chance of eating before takeoff and then skipping the meal in favour of getting some shut eye. That is ignoring passengers who have to have loud conversations over the screens with their co travellers. Flying is just a means to an end and Virgin proves this.
I agree with your assessment. Crew was the best on both legs when we flew Virgin Upper class. The food was mediocre, unappetizing and absolutely lacked any "wow" factor. I won't spend the money again.

Great video! Very insightful for future trip planning to the UK.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome video
Thanks 👏🏽
If travelling with a partner is it best to book seats one in front of another. Or one window and one across from it in centre row?
One window and the other the aisle for sure
This is Boeing 787-9 aircraft as far as I know.
The 787 and the A330 have the same interior!
W airline
For real

Nice to hear your side of the argument, I do see where you stand and you made valid points that many may have as well!
