Paint A Simple Watercolour Sunset Cityscape, Watercolor Urban Landscape Tutorial For Beginners

- / loisdavidsonart www.etsy.com/u... Here I show you how I paint a simple semi abstract sunset cityscape scene/urban skyline.
I'm using a limited palette painting of colours, Raw & burnt sienna, indigo, alizarin crimson and paynes grey, but use what ever similar colours (or different) that you like! Brushes etc are detailed in the tutorial, but, again, use whatever you are comfortable with. My paper is Saunders Waterford 100% cotton cold pressed, 140lb/300g, my board is at an angle of about 45-60 degrees. I hope you enjoy watching, please like and subscribe if you haven't already!

Terrific as ever, Lois. May I ask, if you use paint straight from the tube is your brush wet/damp or do you rely on the water that is on the paper? Or both?
I use paint straight from the tube and a combination of a wet brush, damp brush and the wet paper to complete the painting. This is what takes a bit of practice!
