I loved it, RDJ is finally playing as Doctor Doom after 2 decades when he almost got a role back in 2005 Fantastic Four before he got casted as Iron Man in 2008.
I 99% agree and am glad someone who's got attention said it... Because it was really starting to get in my nerves the way people are just hating cause of their personal taste. A really tiny portion of the critiques has valid points, but most of them just says a lot of random bullshit to finish with "I wanted another actor for Doctor Doom"
For those worried about doom coming late into the saga
Remember it was announced a long time ago that marvel is planning a redemption/ Loki arc for dr doom for when they bring him in
This means we still have him in the next saga and this makes sense!
Hey Supes, I wanted to say i completely agree with everything you said.
Both sides have justifiable reasons to feel great or upset about this.
Im just puzzled/lost but im willing to give Kevin & Russo bros the benefit of doubt. They've done so much for us before.
RDJ is going to give us a phenomenal performance as Doom. I believe we will still see him as a Tony Stark Variant with the other Heroes.
Marvel Studios are self-aware how important these next avengers films are.
Now having the risk of these Films will push them to there best.

I mean… imagine losing everything and everyone after the last movies and barely gives the best of you to keep being a hero for everyone but then later stuck in the middle of crisis where the villain who threat the multiverse is your mentor who were your father figure that you failed to save last time … and now you either kill him or defeated him for the sake of multiverse. I can not imagine what Peter feel after this 😢 poor, broken and suffered man never catch a break because of responsibility 😔

RDJ is excellent , mind blowing , he is the one and only no doubt in that very excited for that but at the same time slightly disappointed as I was expecting Cillian Murphy as Dr Doom . Just imagine that the person who played such a good evil role in peaky blinders as dr doom , he would do fabulous job as dr doom , seeing Cillian Murphy edits as dr doom is hitting different as of seeing RDJ edits as Doom
It's almost but certain that RDJ's Doom WILL BE from another universe while the Doom from the Sacred Timeline will be played by another character!
This is perfect in my opinion, it fits the theme of the multiverse saga way better, that being choice. RDJ coming back just makes sense within the continuity within the mcu, maybe not the best for hardcore doom/comic fans but if someone only has knowledge for the mcu - it’s awesome and for people open for new and big things that don’t really have any inspiration from the comics it’s awesome too
Yeah but they need to have doom be a separate character, not a stark variant. Rdj’s acting range is superb and i honestly hope we never see his face which i doubt it
@@senate2674 we will 100% see his face and I’d be completely down with it because the reason doom hides his face is because of scarring, even if it’s slight any imperfections to doom then he can’t show it, and as soon as doom became powerful enough he fixed his face and that’s when he took off the mask - so I’m hoping something like that happens towards the end of doomsday and throughout secret wars he can wear the mask or not

I Agree I think this is Very Exciting because RDJ is a Great Actor and whatever he does in The MCU is going to be Awesome and The Russo Bros have Directed THE BEST MCU Movies Of All Time and I understand why people are confused and some people are not so happy about this, But I trust The Russos and RDJ to make a Great Story and I'm Really Excited to see what The Future of The MCU will be. I love Dr. Doom truly, don’t get me wrong but I feel like Kang deserved his own saga and so does Dr. Doom. For me I was invested in the Kang charavter and marvel made us invest on this character despite the flaws all to end up thrown in the trash for nothing. They set Kang up since phase 4. And it feels so unfair to not get to finish this great marvel villain’s story. We were robbed of a true ending to Kang. And I wish they did him better.

If both Doomsday and Secret Wars end up being billion dollar hits, I see no way MCU is gonna ever reboot. And I believe it shouldn’t, as it isn’t a hot garbage mess that the DCEU was. People care a lot for these versions of Marvel characters, and to throw it all away built so carefully and painstakingly is something that won’t be done by Disney.
At the same time, undoing the events of "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" wouldn't be a good idea either

By definition, a hail Mary is a desperation move.
Not necessarily because it's what they were always going to do. Marvel wasn't desperate when they brought back Tobey & Andrew for NWH or Hugh & others for D&W. Bringing back RDJ & all the other legacy characters was always what Secret Wars was going to be. Now they just confirmed their Hail Mary/Big Bomb is actually happening even though we always knew it was.

@@THEREALSUPES you need to understand that those actors reprised their respective roles. Not as other characters buddy. There's a huge difference in that which means you lot cannot keep use the same defence for it. It's like ok. Hugh Jackman has been cast as Magento

I think then bring in back rdj is to bring in some people as a pr move. But it's also a good thing because I think that rdj was hired got talent as the character wears a mask and has a distorted voice.
I’m mixed about this, we’ll have to see it when the teaser comes out. Also, will they make the next avengers movies rated R cause deadpool & wolverine are rated R characters. And they might water down the characters as a result

I dont mind him coming back, we always knew he would, my issue is that he's doom, i would totally be down for evil tony but they couldve made him superior iron man or even just a new evil tony, I dont think people dislike that hes back on its own its that it steals quite a bit of dooms character, clearly theyre will be a point that either hes a tony variant which kills the characters own story or if hes not that the avengers will at some point recognize he looks like their tony, and it just seems like a huge underwhelm for doom, I wanted tony back more than anyone, but I wanted him back as any form of tony. There are so many other great choices for Victor and they couldve brought tony back along side him not as him
