Believe it would have to be plated gold. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure I'm not. Gold is a pretty soft metal and most fire arms would be ruined after just a few shoots. I know the riffling would go to shit for sure.
@Spartan472 Actually, the most powerful handgun is the Pfiefer-Zeliska revolver in .600 Nitro Express. The S&W has the most powerful PRODUCTION handgun, in other words the most powerful mass-produced. The Zeliska is a custom-made, and it's also the largest handgun in the world.
