@@TheBigburcie Likely never own one? Don't be that negative. 700$ isn't that much money - and I'm broke, man, I'm broke - but it isn't *that* much. I mean, a 10K mic, yep, I'll never own one because that's just useless today to spend that much on a mic, but 700$ is a good investment. A mic will never get old. It will always work, with new and old equipment. As long as you take regular care of it. You can make money with it. People are weird... they have a phone with 200 bucks a month contract locked-in for 2 years, load their credit cards to get a new computer they don't need and will change 6 months from now, and the best internet connection to go on Facebook... so they take all those financial risks but don't wanna buy something with their credit that can help them achieve their dreams? I don't get it. I'm not saying go buy it - don't, you can't afford it - but put money aside and you will more than surprised how much you can save. Seriously. Put all your change in a jar with an electronic counter on it (cost 15 bucks). Best fucking saving practice ever. Incredible. Hundreds of dollars.
@@jas_bataille I'm not going to argue the value of it for someone who is making music seriously. I've made a grand total of $80 in the last 25 years for playing music and have only spent over $400 on a piece of gear twice in that time. I'm a tinkerer and hobbyist not a serious musician.
