I really feel for all the players and Mike - obviously painfully aware of the lag and consequent over-talking but powerless to prevent it. Saw the D&D Beyond response that it got better after some tweaks in the 2nd ep - will persevere. If it was frustrating for us to watch it must have been even more frustrating for people who were actually invested in it. Takes a lot of patience. Good group of interesting characters and a really good DM. Thanks to the whole group!
Todd did not disappoint with the background that is forever appropriate for a warlock. And before watching the whole thing I'd like to point out how much I loved TJ's reactions on Critical Role, and I expect no less here ;) Edit: The music from NWN had me weeping with nostalgia immediately!
Card Captors! A mystic adventure. Card Captors! A quest for all time. Each card possesses a power all its own. We've got to find them to bring the power home!
Adam should make voices for characters in isometric RPGs. "I stand ready." "I'm always ready." "Aye." I wasn't sure how I'd feel about that show before but now I think the campaign idea, if I got it right, is *amazing*

Well played D&D beyond using a campaign we can see the character sheets. Eldricht Knight, Circle of Land (Forest), Cavalier, Light Domain, Hexblade, and Beast Master. Interesting build with 2 fighters, and 3 people with a heavily invested interest in creatures (rider, druid, and companion) Really this party is heavily damage based which will be interesting.
Crit Role does the same amount. Cast will just have to work on letting others have moments to shine, but being the first episode everyone was doing their best to stand out. Hopefully will improve given time.
@@Everythingistheworst I think they mean it's too many players who aren't in the same room. Critical Role is played in person. I agree, it's 2 more than what I would usually feel is workable. It's fine if everyone is mindful of who's talking and etc but can get crazy if not. I tend to find for Virtual games it's always better to shoot for 3 -4 player max (3 is honestly better), to avoid that issue.
I like that TJ guy really like the way he role plays.... And Penelope, huh, another overly friendly halfling (I'm guilty of this too, my last one was kleptomaniac thief who's dream was to touch a dragon). I think it high time we had a grumpy Halfling.....running to DnDBeyond to make my own

I want this to be changed to a podcast. I wish it could be added to the podcast area on the google music area with dragon talk. this would be amazing! This is amazing the description of what they are doing make me so happy. Great story telling everyone.
So...... “ Card Captors! A mythic adventure! Card captors a quest for all time! Each card possesses a power of it’s own we’ve got to catch them to bring the power home!” Just saying. But aside from something to do and owing him for their freedom why are they doing this? Because it’s cool? I mean the whole thing does seem needlessly dangerous... are they getting other rewards I missed. It’s a cool concept but... I like more motivation... still great concept! Great so far. Also; keen is my favourite so far but they are all nice! Keep it up!
This is so good. We need more of DND shows after critical role. It would be better once it's not on a video call, you interrupt each other more awkwardly than casually. But yeah! go heroes of the Vale.
This is such a contrast from Dice, Camera & Action's show, here the players all start talking or don't even wait for the finalizing descriptions, whereas in DCA no one talks unless called upon sometimes lmao

That'd be nice, but it ups the expense and difficulty quite a bit.
