Classic Game Room HD reviews CENTIPEDE for ColecoVision! This Atari game makes its way to Coleco Vision in 1983 with this stellar arcade conversion for the Coleco home video game console. Absent is trackball support but gameplay remains solid as you shoot insects, spiders, weird ass things that fly by and that GOD DAMNED CENTIPEDE THAT JUST WON'T STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry.... I get carried away. This Centipede review has Centipede gameplay footage and I want to strangle that f'n Centipede with my shoe laces. I swear that I have nightmares about that thing. Crawling, maneuvering and dodging my laser fire... why does it hate me? WHY!? All I ever wanted was to be friends with Centipede but nooooo, no somebody had to break into smaller centibits and attack me from the side and bottom of the screen. And don't even get me started on that friggin' spider, that sell out bitch! Centipede review for Colecovision. Only on Classic Game Room. From Atarisoft (no relation to Nerf, although Nerf is soft. And friendly!) Centipede is a classic, retro, old school, coin op video game for Coleco Vision. And Centipede is evil.

Thanks Cory who was stationed in Alaska at the time this video first aired. I just tried this game with my roller controller switched to joystick, and it works 100% . Thanks also to Mark ( Lord Karnage) for another great game review. Always an informative, interesting, and fun review !
I remember this review! This version is fantastic! Even though the 5200 version is better, this one still rocks! The Roller Controller must go very well with this.
I think the Colecovision version is a little better. 🤔
@@GodofWarChuka Lol. I have the colecovision version now and have played it with the roller controller. It is awesome. I never got the play the 5200 version. I think at the time I commented, I was referencing the visual and audio similarities to the arcade, thinking the 5200 version was better. Gameplay-wise the Coleco version is probably better.
Another good review. I gotta say your reviews are getting much better. A lot of these games speak for themselves so sometimes less is more. But you're finding the right balance, I think
I got my Colecovision for 88.37 USD, well worth it. It's only the console 2 controllers and cables without any game.

I wish I didn't get sniped on eBay in the last minute for a system, otherwise I woulda had one. Oh well, I still love my Atari 7800.

not to be confused with
assassins creed or
project sylpheed which only ryhmes.

I live in Sweden and they don't sell one here very often. I could've buy one on ebay but that would cost alot with shipping and all. If you got one for 20 bucks with games and fully working you're damn lucky.

Sadly Mark it’s called the Atari VCS again, and it doesn’t have a Trak Ball for the Recharged game. Maybe it’s good that your gone, because that would just piss you off.

Good god, Atari releasing games for the Colecovision, a competing console. That would be like Nintendo releasing games for the Xbox 360 or PS3.

Please review the game boy version its awesome ( trust me i have it ) yet at its harder cause u start out with only 4 live but that dosent take away from the awesomeness!

The 5200 version looks better. But I am sure Atari half assed all their games they ported over to the Colecovision.

I think everyone sold something they regret selling. I sold my Dreamcast (grah) and Shining Force 2 for genesis...gahhhh
You kind of got ripped off. You could easily pick one up on ebay for well under half that. I got one complete with a couple of games all for around $20 bucks.
