I have signed 3 albums with Extreme music. It's a great company. All that thanks to you Jesse. If i haven't come over your channel and do your courses to really understand this industry, i wouldn't have any idea of all this. Russell is a great guy and very passionate. I have the chance to have e-meet him from zoom calls for album proposals. The guy runs Extreme music and bleeding fingers and he still has time to go on a zoomcall with artists. I wish every company had a CEO like Russell
I cold-called Russell back in 2008 and sold him/Extreme a stake in my catalog called BurstLabs which became the Mixtape series on their site. Ended up producing the next three years of Mixtape releases for them before selling them the remaining portion of my catalog and launched my new venture The License Lab in 2011. Ah, memories... good times! Grateful for my time with the Extreme crew.
Thankyou Jesse, Thankyou Russell, grateful for all that you shared. Great stuff indeed. Cheers. PS: Love to meet him, have a beer andhang out talking music. All the best. K
Russel Emanuel emailing Jesse - isn't it the best proof how great and valuable his channel actually is? Congratz, man! Btw - I hope Russel is prepared to be bombarded with submissions now :)
over the last few months of following your channel and joining Sync Academy and attending Sync Up (virtually), it's made me feel a lot better that most of these companies seem to be led by musicians that LOVE exciting music
This was an amazing interview. Really insightful and when Russell said he gets imposter syndrome, it was like a sigh of relief because now I know even the big guys get that and it's ok.
This is amazing! I’ve does some music for Extreme and currently working on a project with them now. Jesse keep going man was great seeing the email about the email you recieved ❤️❤️
Such a lucky start, in terms of timing and financing, no doubt hard work and knowhow but what a lucky break with that starting budget and open-minded supporter in Camdentown! Russell is a straightup guy, a visionary, and an honest inspirational figure.
Fantastic interview! This gives me fresh ideas and inspiration! Also: Stiff Little Fingers???!!!!!! That was the soundtrack of my childhood! "Doesn't make it all... Doesn't make it all....Doesn't make it alright, alright, alright, alrightalrightalright!"
That was a great and unique interview Jesse! So, I watched the entire video waiting for any kind of submission method to be mentioned. Unfortunately, there's no submission email in the contact info of EM website. How can I submit to them?
@@Ahmad-Mounir44 that’s up to you to figure out. I’m not going to openly share a submission email/portal that would undoubtedly overwhelm their reviewers.
