JCal still trying to pull a fast one by getting everyone to listen to the past podcast when so many things have changed and come to light since. Thanks Chamath for being the voice of reason.
I don't buy Sacks' argument that a few tweets changed his mind. Trump is still saying the system (i.e. elections) is rigged and you won't have a country if you don't fight back. You can't walk that back with a few tweets after your supporters storm the capital. I think these guys change their mind purely for self-interest. Also using your own words against you is not sneaky. If there was so much revelatory information since then, why didn't they expand other than he tweeted a few more times than I knew about...
I never saw episode 16, but I'm not going back & watching it either. Instead, I'll just wait to see the look on JCal's face with his foot in his mouth when 2020 is publicly proven with no judicial corruption & when the truth is made known publicly of what really happened on Jan. 6, 2021. There's a laptop that is getting ready to surface & there's also a SCOTUS case that will soon be revealed! I believe that will be Pelosi's laptop & the Brunson SCOTUS case! Finally!! When JCal is hopefully confronted by the the other three, he needs to say, "I'm sorry", not just apologize. Apologies are cold & he's cold enough towards those of us who started watching when our President Trump was interviewed. As far as Sacks & his choice of oatmeal or oat milk... Trump's not Hitler, MAGA isn't fascist & he's welcome to drink whatever his heart desires with no condemnation. It's his right to make that choice. We're not cancel culture in our side, JCal. 😡
I'm pretty sure Friedberg is one of the only sane people on the internet. Please keep it up guys this pod is for real one of the highlights of my week, every week.
He is the most mature and will probably have the biggest positive impact on the world. He’s absolutely right on the budget and rethinking programs that aren’t achieving much for the money they waste.
Why is January 6th not a valid issue to focus on? The Republicans focused just as much on immigration. People have different priorities for their values
I'd bet there were, plenty. Except in that particular op the objective wasn't to demonize & jail the participants & the leaders of the left. It was just to make Tman look bad & get the public to vote against him just to make it stop
Thank you guys for your honest and straight forward conversation with us all. You guys are a breath of fresh air. Every American should listen to you fair and open discussion. God bless you all.
I actually couldn’t stop laughing at the intro! Hate the politics, but love the market analysis and the friendship! Great job to everyone (except Sacks 😅)!
The whole 3rd place is totally gone in Starbucks. The most recent one that opened near me is awful, The buy online/pick up in-store section is huge, and there were 3 sterile seating areas that were less than inviting. No customer service of worth and it might as well have been run by machines. Great book JCal and it is a million miles away from Schulz's vision of an Italian coffee bar
Chamath well said on Jan 6 event. I think there is more to the story about the Jan 6 demonstration. Video of activity inside the building appeared peaceful on balance. I didn't see anyone burning down of content inside the buildings. Leaders are to blame for not managing the security adequately.
I think the All-in Podcast should into the events that happened on Trump's inaugural day. People were burning down cop cars and heavy protests. Imagine if they didn't assign the appropriate amount of police to rein in the crowd, one could also interpret that as something worse than Jan 6th. Jan 6th would not have happened if there were an appropriate amount of police to contain the crowd.
No doubt a 50 basis point rate cut is in order, inflation is a killer for the middle and lower class. Monetary policy decisions should prioritize economic stability for the working class, not cater to wall street’s big boys and politics.
My concern is where we will begin to see the effect of these cuts, is housing going to follow suit? I missed out on my dream home during the pandemic, I am now all eyes and ears for a further decline in mortgage rates.
Further decline? This is the reason I had wanted to refinance in the 1st quarter according to our budget but my spouse likes the space and the pool. If I go ahead with the plan, I will have over 200k to put in a HYSA as I had initially intended, seeing stocks are very volatile these days and the bond market (10Y) is pricing in the effect of rate cuts by ticking upwards, is it a good time for an average joe to get into the financial markets?
Consider consulting a financial advisor to protect your retirement savings from inflation. I personally saw my portfolio grow from $750,000 to $1.2 million in 3 years, saving $23,000 in taxes and earning $45,000 in dividends, despite 2.5% annual inflation. A financial advisor can help you rebalance your portfolio, optimize retirement income, and develop a tax-efficient strategy to safeguard your future.
Trudeau on immigration is so messed up. In a country that already had significant immigration, decided to import 2x-4x the amount the economy can support. Vancouver BC housing is like SF housing prices... There was a report that even by 2030, there's not enough housing for the current population if they have 0 immigrants...
And to make it worse Vancouver jobs don’t have San Francisco career opportunities and salaries to support our insane house prices for our best talent. Having said that I put the blame on Trudeau for the countries failure on housing, not immigration, as British Columbia’s fertility rate is now 1.0 when 2.1 births per female is the zero growth population rate - meaning immigration is a must for Canada unless you want Canada’s population to disintegrate. My big complaint on immigration is that Canada and other immigrant magnets are stealing some of the best and brightest minds from the developing world to incrementally better our first world problems. I am constantly saddened of having Uber drivers in Vancouver telling about their engineering or medical careers back home and how they now live in a small 9’ x 9’ room illegally built in a house in Vancouver where they pay $900 per month with 9 roomates.
You Guys are not addressing the elephant in the room? The current youth workforce is not tuned to typical 8 hours work culture? There attention spans is 45 minutes max then need some social media break ? Then we order food watch it come just no professional commitment whatsoever ever further of America I’ll be influencer etc no clear focus !
Best cut for the money is eye of chuck, I like it more than ribeye Just needs to be properly cooked and thick. Picanha is good (I think it’s a small section from the top of the sirloin?) but chuck eye is the unsung hero of the cow and flies under the radar

Lmao the intro was the best ever. Chamath is a good sport haha 😂
🤣🤣🤣😆
was this cold open jason's finest work to date?
One of the best openings. And funniest.
The wife was the cherry on top
Loved it!
I’ve never seen a man so dedicated to the cold open.
Yes, loved it
This intro is priceless! J Cal just casually chilling at Chamath’s house-did I accidentally tune into a sitcom? 😂
Best cold open in a while!!
“Pour out half the bottle, I only like bottom half” 😂
Just pour half into the garden, put it by my spinach 🤣
Intros always goated
I love that he cares more about the sweater than his wife kissing JCal on the cheek LOL
Jason accidentally spilling red wine on Chamath's stuff would be Golden
I was expecting him to at least make the threat
it was distracting enough to watch Jason sporting wine mustache the rest of the episode. And offset eyebrows.
JCal still trying to pull a fast one by getting everyone to listen to the past podcast when so many things have changed and come to light since. Thanks Chamath for being the voice of reason.

Agreed… I didn’t like that at all & was SO happy to see Chamath push back! We can always count on you for common sense! 😊

Friedberg, please stay engaged in this modern day McLaughlIn Group. Love it when you are All In!
Yes… more! Keep it coming please! 👏🏻 😊
What great comparison. I remember watching TMG for the 1st time, similar eye opening vibes
Best cold open till date!!!
💯💯👍🤣 it was worth it just to watch Chamath sweat.
@@AntonStetner : Yes, absolutely. But he was a sport
David Sachs makes this show worth watching. ❤
As bad as jcal is, that was the best opening on the show ever
JCal is so naturally funny. Everything that came out of his mouth at the opening was golden. "Threw away half the bottle to the garden" killed me!
I thought he was going to empty his glass of port into that potted plant behind him to make room for the wine 😂!
Chamath speaking the truth on the side hustle mentality. We each have one life, go all in.
Time stamp?
if i ever get the privilege of being interviewed for a job by Friedburg Im gonna come with some crazy lookin graphs to impress.
Ive only been waiting for this to drop all day
same here lol
J cal go an episode without mentioning j6 difficulty level impossible
Why is January 6th not a valid issue to focus on? The Republicans focused just as much on immigration. People have different priorities for their values
All-In is best when Friedberg moderates.
Just the opening was worth the wait. Priceless
This cold-open was the absolute GOAT.
I thought Jason would never recover from ep.19’s robinhood smack down but this was exceptional
I've been critical of JCal mainly because of his severe TDS, but that intro was very funny. Good job JCal
This is my all time favorite episode of All In. Well done #besties.
best intro to date 😂😭💯
This was easily the best episode of All-In I’ve ever listened to, W intro, amazing discussion on economics, please give us more of this my besties!
100%
Peak intro!
Re Starbucks - the amount of people that can AFFORD to shop at Starbucks as often has dropped significantly in the past 3.5 years.
Can’t afford or just don’t want to? Let’s be honest, Starbucks sucks.
Its a good sign when your besties wear sweater without asking.
They just take it and own it like its theirs!
😂😂
Ya all is well here
LOL "Are you wearing my goddam sweater?!" LOL Is there ever a better comment for the use of ?! lol
January 6th is a great example and WE ARE SICK TO DEATH OF HEARING ABOUT IT
I look forward to this podcast every week.
Jason is like the rest of us when we go to a hotel 🤣😂😁Grab everything that he can 😆
Finally we get some talk about GOLD!
OK, that intro was 10 out of 10 😂
And the BLM money went to parties and luxury homes!
Imagine if the Summer of 2020 Riots had hundreds of FBI in the crowd revving up the riot.
FBI informants were present at the Summer of 2020 uprisings.
I'd bet there were, plenty. Except in that particular op the objective wasn't to demonize & jail the participants & the leaders of the left. It was just to make Tman look bad & get the public to vote against him just to make it stop
@@rebelseer3691 hundreds ? And did they have police opening doors and letting people into Government buildings?
Jcal reminds me of some of my relatives when they visit. When they leave stuff are missing lmao
jcal always with the best freaking intros man lmao
this was my favorite cold open so far
Sacks is right.
Thank you guys for your honest and straight forward conversation with us all. You guys are a breath of fresh air. Every American should listen to you fair and open discussion. God bless you all.
Chamath is very wise and has good life experience. Listen to him..... Respect Sir.😊
Best cold open of all times 😂
THE Worlds greatest moderator returns!
I watched that intro 10 times
Nice rotation on this ep. Keeping it fresh without interrupting the chemistry.
Jason rizzing chamaths wife is crazy work
I wish these were more than once a week. Love the discussion.
Helps filter out the little distractions and focus on what survived the 24h news cycle.
Edit: ... and they actually have more important stuff to do.
Yeah twice a week would be solid but this is still good
They have way better shit to do
I will never be comfortable hearing Jason say cap
That's how the hood knows it's time to move on to another word, when ppl like Jason start using it 😂
I actually couldn’t stop laughing at the intro! Hate the politics, but love the market analysis and the friendship! Great job to everyone (except Sacks 😅)!
Chamath is dealing 🔥🔥🔥
LOL what is happening in the first 3 minutes lolololol
Just started listening to this pod a few weeks ago. Very intellectual discussions with some good banter. Cant find this anywhere else!

We need more Nat and JCal duo trolling Chamath. So good.
This is a hilarious intro to the podcast guys …
Chamath well said on Jan 6 event. I think there is more to the story about the Jan 6 demonstration. Video of activity inside the building appeared peaceful on balance. I didn't see anyone burning down of content inside the buildings. Leaders are to blame for not managing the security adequately.
Wasn’t Trump the leader at the time?
Some of the best intros!
shout out AESOP
JCal treating Chamath house as a shopping mall😂
Jcal killin the jokes in the beginning. Cheering me up!
That cold open had hot tea flying everywhere. Well done Jason.
The best thing that can happen to this podcast, going forward, is for this election cycle to conclude.
Favorite Holiday-Pandemic!- Brilliant, I am going to use it, mine too.
Seeing Chamath tilted over the sweater is absolutely gold content 😂

It's amazing that we can listen to this level of skill for free.
Best cold open yet. Maybe the blackjack hand was the previous best.
gas lighting set to extra high today
top best opening so far. watching chamath get trolled is 11/10 and i love chamath
THE BEST OPEN OF THE DECADE!
Jason always cracks us up
You can have my wine you can have my wife but DO NOT touch my sweater 😂😂😂
They don’t wanna be “independent” they wanna be famous.
Look forward to this all week that intro was hilarious
Ok that opening was awesome
Great pod as always. But I’m praying to baby Jesus that you fellas might spring for a couple of new cameras!!
That open was incredible.

Excellent points by Sachs and Chamath on the mindset needed to succeed. 33:06 and 36:44. Thanks for the wisdom.
"I'm so tilted" I'm taking this.
J Cal’s man of the house vibe is ON! 🔥
That opening was hilarious
Hide yo’ kids, hide yo’ wife, hide yo’ loro piana
WOW...The best intro yet. Aesop for life!
Hilarious start, 😂 great ending! 😂 I love this POD. 🙌
Wow one of the best and most relevant episodes! Please more episodes like this
such a goated intro omg
JCal killed it this ep…very insightful n different than the usual

Liquidity drives markets. Money printers are on overdrive. Banks are easing as well.
MOAR Kowbell!!!! 😉
Friedberg should moderate more
Well said as always, in the preamble to 'burn the boats'
My god I always look forward to these intros.
Lets goooooo!!! Happy Friday everyone!
