I'm a little disappointed that the model's hair is a silky curly texture, and not kinkier. I imagine blending and maintenance would be easier for her. Still I'm fascinated by this method and you always have beautiful results. Thank you and your model for this video
NicNacAttack although hers is silky, all you need is hair that matches yours & there is plenty out there. you would probably have to make them but i have seen all the way up to 4c texture in these extensions.
I like that her hair was curled i want to leave my curl and go natural. I just didn't want to cut my hair to do so. My hair loss is in the front so wanted to see more in those areas. Nice job thank you.

No dear. The links are clamped shut and can only be opened with a certain tool. Tell him 2 watch his imaginary fingers 😏

If they come loose that easily they weren’t installed properly. You can see the the video she’s able to pull a blow dryer attachment, combs, and flat irons through the hair and the links stay in place.

The links were so close to her scalp. I know that she had a tough few weeks. Most videos say to leave space from the top of the link to the scalp so they don't scratch your scalp.

I had these done, and in a month's time, my new growth had the links loose.
The stylist told me that i would have to get them done again bcus most people's hair

Mae Sams I mean all you have to do is go get your links Untightened, move the link closer to the scalp and then retightened... don’t know why she didn’t tell you that. Needs to be done every few weeks

Yes it can. It would be best to use some type of curly hair instead of straight hair and you could only wear it down opposed to wearing it in a ponytail. You can wear a part on the side or a part in the middle. If you have at least three to four inches of hair you can go with straight hair. Hope this helps you.

To much emphasis on having straight hair. Onyc Hair has kinky curly and tight kinky curly I-tip hair. It would be nice to have a video of a black woman embracing the natural texture and curl pattern of her hair with I-tip’s. I would pay a lot of money to find a person that can install kinky curly I-Tip hair.

This expensive from what Ive heard
With purchase of hair, and cost of installation here in Pittsburgh I will be paying over 800 dollars. This is not including the cost of maintenance (re tightening) every 8 weeks or so depending on your hair growth rate which is about $275 this includes styling of course. Personally I think it’s worth it if taken care of properly and maintenance it will last 6 to 8 months. Just do your research and find a great hair dresser that knows what they’re doing. That’s to much money to have someone not get it right the first time.

I’ve seen methods where they sew the hair on top of the links to make it more discreet. Leaving the links exposed as it appears you’ve done here will limit the type of styles as you can see the link poking through the hair. 🤔🤷🏽♀️
