    Great, thank you! You can also use a polygon pour on the solder layer, as in to expose for connection to a grounding bracket.

    you don't need to redraw the track, just select it, copy with the reference point, and then go to the solder layer and select "paste special">> paste on current layer, and using the reference point, click

    I do not understand, why not just make the track thicker? Also, there is a via there, the via will still get very hot and there might be a mechanical failure due to that.

      Hey sometimes in high power application even thik tracks are not enough, then we do solder copper strips to carry that amount of current,
      Or put solder on exposed path.
