When the Sea turns ugly (trash & yard debris)

Walking the dogs when I saw debris in the water. At first I thought Sargassum, until looking closer.
Turns out it was fresh ‘Beach Naupaka’, aka: ‘Half Flower’ which grows along the shore to hinder erosion.
When I saw Palm Tree branches, I looked up-current.
A woman is cutting the foliage along the Caribbean Sea, throwing her yard debris into the water.
