When the muscles broke i felt so smug because i had been saying it out loud when seeing the end product. "This is risky, it could be exactly like EVERY scifi book about exo-skeles and mech suits i have ever read. It breaks someones arm or spine." Which almost happened! The first prototype suit or armor always kills the first wearer in scifi books. Glad that didn´t happen here. I kinda guessed nothing would happen because then it wouldn´t have been here on RUclips. But it is scary to imagine what damage that preasure could do it something snapped and your arm basically got pulled in any direction.
He’d still have to be if he’s curling that much weight yes the arms doing work his body has to support it and not curl over by using all the other muscles so it not easy
First half of the video I was waiting, waiting, waiting for the part where they made the back and hip harness to make sure the shoulder wasn't the weakest link. Mr. Hacksmith, you're super lucky it didn't go worse.
I think its rather that we predict something absolutely wrong and realistically unfeasible. Like flying cars are a stupid idea, but no one predicted smartphones. Humans predicted us to go to space more after the moon landings, but there was no incentive or monetary gain so we didn't. Shit we predict is flashy, but not practical. Or practical, but no one wants to do it, cause of the risk.
It's a common bit of wisdom that we over-estimate how the world will change in the short term, but under-estimate what it will do in the long term. Ten years from now will look a lot like right now, but 100 years from now the world will be utterly unrecognizable.
Let's just appreciate the fact that he is enjoying the process. This experiment shows that human body is something which aggravates strength and compatibility
Yes, Crysis takes place in the distant future of August 7 2020.... Oh wait.... (I mean we certainly are facing a crisis it just aint aliens, as far as we know...)
Use an array of multiple electro-magnets as artificial muscle. I'm working on this concept and it can do a lot. If you have an array of 10 magnets activate 5 and you get half of the full range of the muscle. Activate 10 and you get the full range. It allow great power and multiples states. Each magnets pull the next one, it's a chain of magnet in a fiber (with lots of cables for the moment). Not as soft because it use hard componants but it doesn't produce sound and it's instant. Contact me if you want me to work on this idea from distance
Sounds cool 😊 👍. But have you given thought to what all of those magnets would do to your blood being and having metal in it might cause blood clots in areas in which have high concentrated amounts of magnets.

Mr. Hacksmith, you're super lucky it didn't go worse.
There is one thing that repeats itself: humans always overestimate when inventions would happen in the modern world
Cant say the same for Bethesda...
They give you a release date, game doesn't work properly until 3 months later when the game is dead.
@@kennethirgendwas4616 can't say that any better
It's a common bit of wisdom that we over-estimate how the world will change in the short term, but under-estimate what it will do in the long term. Ten years from now will look a lot like right now, but 100 years from now the world will be utterly unrecognizable.

@@pollariperry6455 I'm not into medical stuff, it's not supposed to go inside a body. I don't think magnets would have any effect for an exo arm to be honnest.
As someone with severe nerve problems and a loss of over 75% of my strength I'd love to see a muscle exo suit
Hopefully it becomes accessible to all soon

Look up the battle slasher of one piece film Z for a good idea to unload the force a bit to the rest of the body.... The characters name if needed is Zephyr. Anyways, instead on a pneumatic muscle, which contract too less.... How about a pneumatic engine at the bearing or a gear in between of it.
