@@Kassiapiano Its one of the most difficult piece I ve tried. Its is difficult technicly, but the main reason why is this so hard, is the story. If your playing isn't telling the story, it is wrong. Rousseau did this. His playing was flawless technicly, but the story is gone. Compare him with Boris Giltburg or Murray Perahia. Rach. was genius

I just broke up with my girlfriend recently. I came here and listen to this piece and set it on loop almost the entire night to ease the pain and sorrow. It really comforts my heart hearing this piece. Somewhat it makes me feel ease and relax like a mother's caress telling her baby that its going to be okay. I can almost hear this piece whispers to me even in sorrows there can be the good things that happen in live. Even in sadness there will be a silver lining to it and it sparks hope for me who just lost someone I love. Thank you for playing this beautiful piece and I feel much better now.
I love this interpretation. Other performers often pop the staccatos too strongly or get carried away with the voicing; you let the melody speak for itself.
