When you were drifting, all the oil went to one side of the engine causing low oil pressure, hence the rod knock. Common problem on circle track cars!

Friend had a German Shepherd named Sam. She had a thing for retrieving rocks. We would throw it down into the ravine, it may take 15-20mns sometimes just a few but she would bring back the very rock we threw down. Everyone was always amazed.

Absolutely no adjustment in Jetta shift linkage, only way to fix it is replaced the plastic linkage bushings for 20 bucks.

swampy 420 I believe it. I owned a 2007 silver p71 I got it with 201,000 miles. I got it because I wanted a crown Vic and I also really needed a car. It was an amazing car, it was in pretty bad shape, dents rust and scratches. After a few months of owning it, it starting to have over heating issues and shifting issues. The owners before me most likely abused it by doing burnouts and other crazy stuff. None the less the car still did it’s job of getting me everywhere and still didn’t burn oil or leak. So I sold that when t reached 210,000 miles and got a black and white 2011 p7b that came from Naperville Illinois. Has 130,000 , and got it professionally painted (illegal to have 2 toned here :/) and I love it death. The car is just fun to drive and yeah it scares people.

The Golden we had when I was growing up loved rocks also. Kept a rock collection on our back deck. We would mark them and then throw them back into the woods, a few days later most of them would be back. Over the years he ground his K9 teeth flat on the tips from chewing on them, vet told us it was common for goldens.
BTW every time I see Holly I smile and think back to our dog......Goldens are hands down the best dogs!!!

YES every golden my wife ever had loved to carry/chew rocks even over tennis balls I have no idea why and my Great Danes loved to carry around cinder blocks. Yes full 8 inch blocks my teeth always hurt watching them play I have no idea why but they had fun

rock chewing in dogs can have a few different causes, however as someone who’s always had golden retrievers and labradors, Holley is probably chewing on rocks due to not having any toys with a proper firmness for her desire. I would recommend getting her a sturdy toy (I recommend the classic kong treat toy, put some peanut butter or something in the center) and seeing if that will work as a substitute for her rock chewing as obviously that will result in grinding down her teeth rapidly.

This is pretty common knowledge for any pet. licking concrete is also an issue, and is also generally because they are lacking something in their diet. The other reason is because of a personality disorder when they do not get enough interaction with their owners... i do not think holley has that problem so it comes down to a diet issue.
