Hi Se Park! love the review! Would like to know whether the Sirui is updated to its newest firmware when this comparison was taken? I'm keen on getting one but am hesitant on the autofocus :")
Haha I’ll come visit you in your back yard even if there was a live band playing. 😁😁🙏🤜 Thanks for your help Ivan. You really helped me launch this video!
Merry Christmas to me, I'm convinced that it's a good fit for me. The Sirui site is giving a 10% discount to new customers above the $100 discount. I like the features but I am most drawn to the out-of-focus blur's buttery smoothness and it's 15 aperture blades. I've got clinical glass and vintage glass, I don't discriminate, I'm thinking this will tickle my button.
"Bokeh"-balls are crap ! It is the overall rendering that counts ! If you do photography with a 60 megapixels camera and wants the best possible optical image quality, then get the Sony 85mm 1.4 GM II, I did ! The Sirui is the least performing i images quality, third is the Samyang and second is the Sigma. If you do not need aperture 1.4 or an aperture ring, then I can recommend to get a used Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8 T*, it is very easy to handle and well built, I got (2023) the Zeiss Batis Sonnar 85mm 1.8 T* used for US $550 (taxes included) in excellent condition.
Well, this comment would be silly if you don't explain why. If you are talking about the trees, that's one way to tell if the bokeh patterns have some swirls in it. I'll take your suggestions though if you want to share.
Great review Se! The colour rendition on the Sirui is pretty good.
Thanks Mario! Yeh kinda digging that warm tone.
what monitor is the guy using 13:15 ? thank you!
This is the exact comparison I wanted. Well presented. Thanks!
I'm so glad to hear that after putting in so much work into this. Really appreciate that feedback!
great comparison, thx for weight numbers 3:00 👍
Seems like Surui is the best deal if you don't need crazy fast movement tracking. Most special Bokeh, nice color rendition and contrast, cheapest.
Nice Video Bro! I guess I will tell SIRUI I’m not releasing my video since you covered it better than me! 😂 And you made me look so pro on the BRoll 😂
Haha I know somehow you’ll do your thing. Looking forward to your video. Thanks for being in my video. Love NY night lights!
@ Haha well you know I love being on camera 📸 🤣
I'm really happy with my Batis 85mm 1.8, but it was fun spending time watching this review to see what else is in the 85mm market.
Hey Duke!! Next video idea: can you tell the difference between 1.8 and 1.4 😁
@@SePark or 1,4 full fram vs 1.2crop
Nice review man! this helps if i were to upgrade from my Sony 85mm 1.8 lens! The office sit down shots are fire...loved the setup
Thanks man! So many good lens launch this year. 🙌😁

Nice review!
Thanks so much!🙏🙏
Meike 85mm f1.4 is an even serious contender
I have the Sirui, don't bother. Not worth even the moderate price.
Sigma 85 1.4 all day
Those fall leaves color on Sigma 🔥🔥🔥👍
I second that.
Very fun 85 review
Glad to hear that! Thanks so much!
This was awesome👍. I think just on the weight and size side of things, the Sirui would probably be my next 85mm.
Hey Marko, I appreciate your comment! I’ve been bringing my Sirui 85mm in my bag more often because of that too. 😄
Sirui bringing some serious competition!
And completion is good for all of us!! 😁🙌👏
What a great review! The Meike should be included in this comparison, TBH.
That’s a good suggestion. It wasn’t available to rent but I will keep that brand in mind for next lens review
This was an amazing lenses comparison!!! Sorry for the noise 😂

I am happy with sigma .
Sigma is solid literally and figuratively. :)
Same for 35mm please
you should put a light background for those lens instead of letting them blend into dark
for example at 2:08
Agree. I’ll improve that for my next lens comparison video. Thanks for pointing that out.
8:16 toneh
You know you know 😂🙏🤜
