I loved these bits, although they seemed very random and strangely interspersed. They added so much character and atmosphere to geralt and the game. The fact that you can have this conversation with chivay and let it go entirely unnoticed unless you desire to interact with the NPC's. Wish witcher 3 had more of this love along with geralts moral pondering.
Interesting fact: That conversation is a retread of a conversation Geralt and Zoltan had in the books.
