- I love this product so much and use it on every car I clean! But, I do want to start off by saying that this is NOT the same as a full blown ceramic coating. This is a super easy and fast way to achieve the benefits of Ceramic or Si02, in a simple and hassle free application. You can apply to a wet or dry vehicle and it will provide amazing water beading and extreme slickness to the cars surface. Its advertised as being able to use it on glass, rubber, chrome, etc... but for my I typically stick to painted surfaces. However, I do use it "off label" as an interior product in some situations! This product is the good old Ceramic Detail Spray from Technicians Choice. ENJOY!!!

I took your recommendation on this product not long ago and I have to say that it is absolutely amazing! Great stuff for the price point and multisurfacable
So I’ve been using this for about a year now and still love it works great just as advertised. Thanks Josh
My favorite stuff the gloss and slickness it provides right away is just amazing!!
I have gotten this because of watching your videos. It's a really a fantastic product. Easy to apply wet or dry. It's worth the price I purchased a full gallon of Amazon. Anyone reading this I recommend the product 👍👍👍
I have a gallon I haven't used yet, their ceramic coating as well. Hope to use soon. Great videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for ALL your informative videos. I've literally stocked my home car detail supplies from learning from you.
Tech choice is great! Been using it on cars for years
I have the big blue drying towel. It's awesome. And today got my maxshine polisher. Excited to use it this weekend.
I’ve been using it after every wash on my unprotected Porsche before I do correction and ceramic coat. Very impressed. Easy to apply. Incredibly slick. Protection seems decent. I will say I use a lot more spray then you do. Probably over doing it.
Love that’s stuff..and I’ve been using that spray from Costco too what way to speed up my job,Thank you for all you do for our detailing community
What spray from Costco?
Love your channel, just purchased 1 gallon!
I just had a gallon delivered and used it as a topper on a Glassparency coating and the gloss is stunning! It does seem to attract a little more dust. Or maybe there is just more dust around here this week.
I just picked up TOUCHLESS and can't wait to try it. You foam it on and spray it off supposed to last 1 to 3 months, I will be using it as a topper for maintenance washes. Finishing my garage and setting up the new pressure washer. Hopefully will be able to test it all out in the next week or two.
Love the demo @detailgreen! Our ceramic products have received nothing but love! Nothing beats easy applications! As you referenced our graphene products are in that same conversation. Would love to see a review video on that!
where can i get in canada? Greater toronto area specifically.
Do you have a product that has anti-static properties? I use an alternative brand on top of Tec582 but would like to keep the products in the family. Any recommendations is greatly appreciated.
Stellar demo and review
I bought this and ended up throwing it in for free with every wash just because I absolutely love how it makes the cars come out an takes a minute or 2 tops
Love that stuff. Have been using it as a drying aid for over 2 yrs.
Do you dilute it?
@@jaimemendez8493 ... No I use it full strength.
Great video
Yardy know I bought this from previous video. Love it !!
Great video! Curious if you use at full strength or do you ever dilute for certain uses like interiors, etc?
Used it on dash and nav screen like he mentioned different video it’s unbelievable! Over a week no dust on nav screen.
Great video! Other comments below asking how this compares to other products. I would add Titan to that list. Thank you
I have got hooked on your videos. Great videos! Enjoy watching them so much. I ordered some of the 582 from your site. I did my 71 Chevelle with it this weekend, and my wife’s 2016 mustang GT premium, which is the same color as my Chevelle. Wanted to share them with you. But I just realized I don’t know how to post a pic in the comment section. Lol! Oh well, they turned out amazing! Thanks again!
Awesome!!! How long have you had the chevelle? My dad had a 72 nova and always regretted selling it… I’m actually looking at one that a customer of mine has and is willing to sell
I’ve had it for 8 years. It’s like a old school hot rod. It’s got a blown big block. Blower sticks up through the hood! Hugger orange! Gets a lot of attention driving around town!
vehicles are coated and PPF on the front ends. I've been using this on a wet surface as a final detail spray for a few years now. It's GREAT!
I also use it for all my clients, I love it! I washed my car every two weeks with ONR and technicians choice ceramic coating.
It’s a great cost effective product!
Yes I have been using this product for a couple years I actually use it every time I dry my vehicle off I use a little bit different I wash my vehicle then I use my ego blower to blow most of my water off of the vehicle and then I missed Technicians Choice 582 on the panel as a drying aid and get my excess water off I get amazing protection and results from this product
This is the best car detailing channel on youtube #period.
👍👍👍
💯
Yup I’ve been using this for my business the last 7 months. For some quick protection and slickness it’s honestly the best.
do you use it straight or diluted?
@@keeganbennett6724 use it straight
@@keeganbennett6724straight
Looks like some awesome stuff 👍😁
I use the graphing one as well and it’s amazing, but the way to use it it’s way different then the this yellow one, and it only 10 bucks more but totally worth it just read the instructions 😊
Been trying to find this product here in Ontario Canada and was finally was able to find some, but…. Lol wasn’t ready to pay $180 after shipping cost for a gallon 🤷♂️but I’m gonna keep looking 😎thanks for the awesome videos
I like it, makes the surface super glossy and smooth. Durability isn’t great, but for what you get at the price point, it does a good job.
@@andriklira956 sorry not necessarily durability as much as longevity, it’s a detail spray and lasts a month or two. Which may work for some people, but if you want longer lasting protection this wouldn’t be the best choice.
I need to try this!!!!
I've been using beadmaker as my detail spray protectant, but now may consider this product as replacement.
Tec582....love it. I'm with you, I use it all the time on my Z and my customers as well
Do you apply it as a drying agent or apply afterwards ? Any steak problems ?
@@4211michael I know what you mean with the streaking. When I apply it after wiping it off I go over it again with a dry towel. That helps with the streaking and brings out the shine even more.
I was suggested by a good friend to try the GYEON Wet Coat, and it works extremely well and in the same way. Super easy to apply, and fantastic results. (I spray it on the car while wet and apply a couple of spritz's to a cloth for wipe down. REALLY slick finish!) The only downside is it's kinda expensive. When I run out, I'll give this product a try since it seems to be more in my price line...
Try the GYEON stuff and see what you think.
I also use Wet Coat. Both are such great products but the edge goes to Tec582 for its versatility IMO.
Thanks for another great video! Does this product work on tonneau covers as well? Or is there another product you’d recommend for tonneau covers for any sort of ceramic protection?
Thank you josh! Best channel! Why do you apply it again after you dried the vehicle?
Vacuum and buffer are the next two upgrades to my home setup. Got my car looking pretty good but I need to fix a couple hail dents and a spot on the front passenger side wheel well there's a ding. And there's a couple spots I still need to fix with the paint pen. But damn it looks good. Learned a lot watching this.
Josh, another great video! I used this spray after you mentioned it one of your other videos. I used it as a drying aid over a ceramic coating, and after application it beaded like crazy. Now about 3 weeks later it is starting to fade, but for the little effort it is a great option especially for the price. Would LOVE to see you do a durability test between it and Griot's Ceramic Speed Shine as they are similar positioned products but TEC582 is almost half the price.
Hey, if you don't mind, you sprayed the technicians choice on your wet car (after washing) and then took it off with a towel? So you did not need to spray it off after application as he does here?
Thanks!
This stuff really is the best. I sorta wish I was the only one with this product. I visited their booth at sema though and they acted like I was dumb for using it on interiors.
Do you mind sharing what surfaces you use it on in interiors? I assume plastics, leathers, and interior windows? Appreciate if you let me know if I'm missing anything, or wrong about my assumption
@@10CPS you are correct
For me out here in Hawaii I see the difference between graphene n just a ceramic. At least in the vehicles I've done and I do the maintenance on. Water spots have gone down big time with the graphene. But yes the tech choice products works great and we use them on our base washes like u.
A gallon of this is gonna be my next purchase, soon as I finish my bead maker gallon. I’ve never seen anyone use it as a touchless very interesting
Hey Josh have you tried tech choice ceramic coating ? If not you should definitely give it a try. I used the tech choice ceramic polish with my polisher as a primer then applied the tech ceramic coating then topped it with the tech ceramic detail spray with amazing results on my wife's new Kia telluride. The ceramic coating super easy on and off it's difficult to mess it up ! Maybe a upcoming video idea ???
I use this stuff daily at the dealership I work for, it works well
This stuff is bomb. Glad you’re making people aware of it. Hopefully this doesn’t make the price go up haha.
Wow, you didn’t even use a drying towel, just sprayed and rinsed and got a huge improvement.
Are you diluting the product, or is that straight out of the bottle?
Where do you use it for interior use? What surfaces?
Very much enjoying your channel!
I've been getting into detailing my own car recently. I took my car to the dealership today for an oil change and they gave it back to me washed... I used to be happy they did that. Now...I went to the service advisor and asked all sorts of questions about how they wash cars... machine washed unless you request a handwash. My next question was how to opt out so I can wash my own car. 😀
I love this it that’s all I use 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Can you do a best bead off product, like between TC choice + Gyeon Wet Coat + Bead Maker, etc
Appreciate all the tips, been watching your channel for a few weeks now, and new to detailing, can you use this product over panels that have clear protection wrap?
1st, love your videos 🏴👍
I recently purchased a gallon of the stuff based on your recommendation but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for all your work Josh.
It's a great product and price
I use it every time after I wash my car, it works great for hard water and adds very good protection.
How was it?
I need to clay, and polish my car. Should I wait before trying this product out?
@@A5Skavanger for the best results clay and polish first. If you want some protection before doing it that's fine too
Sweet Thank you 🙏🏼
Hey Josh, How are you? I hope you and your family are doing well. I was wondering what the difference is between this product and Formula 4 from Superior? What one is better? Thank you for your time and for making this video.
I do use it and damn it is a nice product!
Yo! Josh!!! I tried this product this past weekend after you've spoke so much about it and WOW!!!! what a great product especially for the value. I was super impressed with the slickness and how easy it is to work with. Thanks as always for a great recommendation.
I heard good things about Technicians Choice Detail spray
Great video. I bought this stuff and it's amazing!! Has anyone tried their tire dressing? How were the results?
Love it
I just had this product sitting in my amazon cart. I’ll buy it for sure now. Would you say this is better than P&S Beadmaker?
I may have missed it in the video but, how long does this product last applying it the way you did in the video?
Does this need to be diluted? Great videos Josh!!!
Can you do similar review on the tech choice graphene gmax? Would love to see that one!
Josh, Can you do a quick video on how to properly open and close the 5 gallon cube container?
You should try the Technicians Choice Gmaxx graphene spray!
Right on josh can it be used in direct sunlight on all surfaces thanks 😊
Good time to ask my question since I see the the MINI with the stripes, planning to ceramic my new Camaro with Maxshine Graphine after I saw your review. My question is should I or is it safe to apply the ceramic to the vinyl Rally Stripes or mask them off? Great Videos, Thank You
Josh, Thanks for the video! I just ordered a gallon on Amazon to apply to my brand new car! What kind of spray bottle do you recommend for applying this? Do you have any favorites? Also looking for a good spray botte for water to clean windows. Thanks!
Both of my vehicles are ceramic coated and I finish every wash with some sort of cermic booster/topper. I decided to buy this tec582 after watching some of your other videos, I have to say it's probably the most impressive product I've used. This beats alot of other expensive synergy/ceramic detail sprays I've used in the past. This will likely be my go to detail spray for the foreseeable future!
have you tried bead maker before?
@@SoyChukii I have not solely because I heard it attracts alot of dust after applying
@@DBuTTs1091 ahh okay. was just wondering i currently use it and like the results i get but was wondering if tech choice was cheaper seems to work well might have to give it a shot
@@SoyChukii give it a shot! Won't know till you give it a try.
Would you say that it is better than Meguiar’s Hybrid Ceramic Detail Spray?
Hey Josh. Thanks for all the videos and information. You said you put the tech 582 on every wash. What about when a client wants a carnauba wax. Do you use both? If so which one do you apply first and how much time in between? Thanks
Josh, a couple of questions. 1. Our car is ceramic coated, would you apply this product every time I wash the car to extend the ceramic coated? And 2. How does this compare to Chemical Guys Speed Wipe Quick Detailer? Thanks again Josh.
Hi Josh, this product looks great! Ive looked, but cannot seem to be able to purchase this in Australia. Would you have any ideas about how I can get this?
Josh have you tried the technicians choice black fusion trim restorer stuff? Seen it at my local details shop and thought about giving it a try.
Questions,
do you have any recommendations for RVs, a cleaner soap for hard deposits? And then a protection soap/spray?
Recommendations for best cleaner type car wash? Then a protection wash/spray after to protect?
Thank You!
Hey Josh , great Video .have to ask your opinion , just too delivery of brand new BMW , came from the dealer with the " First Place Finish " 9H ceramic coating , can I use the Techincians Choice as a detailer over the Ceramic Coat , and how would you compare that to a quality wax on top of the 9H ( of course to be applied regularly ) ..Thanks for your great videos
Can you do a review on durra dressing its suppose to be a permanent tire dressing i would love your thoughts on it
This is exactly how I have been using Gyeon Quartz ceramic detailer. If you have experience with both, how is this better?
I now use TW Flex wax the same way, I found less water spotting with Flex wax otherwise the same.
Just getting into this and have learned a ton from your vids. One ? I have is after compounding and polishing what kind of prep before using a detailer like this would need to be done? Very interested in this product and also Wolfgang Uber Si02 Silica Spray.
Well after compounding and polishing is the absolute most perfect time to apply a ceramic coating, sealant, wax, or any type of coating you prefer. The only thing you might do before applying a sealant would be to do an IPA wipe down to make sure all the polishing compound is off of the paint. An IPA wipe down just means get a microfiber and some isopropyl alcohol diluted 1:1 and wipe the car. You might have already learned this as your comment is 2 months old, but in the case you didn't, I hope this helps.
Josh....do you recommend any cheaper alternatives for after wash sprays for water spots?? For the homeowner who doesn't have the money for DI tanks?? Thanks Chris
wow that worked fast!!!! ok P&S you have some competition
Could you do something with a spray wax or maybe before/after a spray wax
What is a good spray on rinse off protection for wheels between pulling them off the car?
Have you ever tried Gyeon Wet Coat? If so, do you think this is better? I use Wet Coat and like it alot.
When you use for interiors, do you dilute? If so, what ratio?
Great content Josh. Do you dilute the product? If so, at what ratio?
No dilution for sealant. 1:1 as drying aid
How does this compare to Xtreme Solutions Topper and Beadmaker?
Great video. I’m looking for a spray to use over Seal N Shine for the winter here in Michigan. I’m looking at Technicians Choice for this. Do you know if I can apply Griots 3 in 1 ceramic spray over Seal N Shine to help me through the winter? I’ve used Wet Coat which I love in the past but looking to try something different. Thanks.
So if you had xtreme solutions topper and this product your talking about...which one would you choose
Please try AutoFanatic’s hyper gloss Ceramic waterless wash. Its a waterless product but with 15% sio2… stuff is great for a drying aid/topper/etc.
I may have missed it but do you dilute it or use as is on the exterior? Thanks
great job, great product.do I need to wet my car before spray or I can spray on dry paint
Use it both ways
Great video! If you’re going to apply it using the 300 gsm cloths at the end, then why are you spraying it on while the car is wet? Doesnt that just waste the product - applying it twice??
I’ve been getting some streaking on clean dry panels. I have a black car. Should I dilute it like 1:1 or less? I usually work in a shaded or in garage cool surface.
Hey bro have you done a water spot removal of your ceramic coating ? I’m really desperate 😝
Hey Josh, have you used the gmax version? If so what were your thoughts? Any better, any significant reasons to go gmax instead?
Is there a dilution ratio you use? Or is it not necessary to dilute the product?
Have you used a product from London called tinos ceramic snow foam ,it’s applied from a foam cannon, wondering how this would compare
I would like to see you review 2 products McKee’s 37 Graphene Ceramic Coating and Undrdog Pro.
