I have an rtx 4090 and a 2k oled hdr monitor, but I can’t find the option where I can turn rtx hdr on it’s just not there, I unplugged my other monitor that doesn’t support rtx hdr and I did a clean install on my graphics card, redownloaded nvidia app, nothing happens

Are you on windows 10? I think you need 11

These work well but only if you press alt z while playing the game and adust them while looking at the game. If you guess on the sliders and launch the game, its probably going to look worse than SDR because the range of settings is vast. You can very easily ruin the image if one of the sliders is in the wrong position, and also, every game needs them in different spots, or the game will look too dark too dull too washed out ect ect.

    Huh, interesting HDR quirk

Yeah it has potential. But it’s currently bugged a bit.

Quirk? It's literally the best looking HDR gaming available. Nothing else looks as good.
EDIT: Yes, better than PS5 and WAY better than shitty Windows 11 HDR.

@@BryceCzirr-jz7ju very promising, but it is still in beta, the more criticism it gets the better as, they out actively looking for feedback to make it better.

@@George-um2vc I suppose so, but to call it a quirk when it is factually the best HDR gaming solution on the market now is kinda silly.

I have mine “enabled” but it just doesn’t seem to like you know actually work. Even when I relaunch the game, it tells me that I need to relaunch it.

Yeah it's still in Beta so bugs can be expected. Maybe try a clean uninstall, restart the PC, install the app again, then restart the PC again. See if that helps.
