Marty and the fabulous superlatives, honestly, you are the best, incredible!
For any acoustic musician this is the epitome of how to sing and play at a top-shelf level. They have balance and blend. Dynamics and accuracy. Their note choice and placement always furthers the song along. Marty's smooth tasteful solo holds so much country history a lead acoustic player can mine it for every nuance. Chris's bass is as solid, steady, and beautiful as any other player could want. Harry's drumming is almost subliminal in this song rising into the concious at exactly the right time. Then there's the singing and harmonies. Again, balance and blend. These guys know how to do it and are master musicians.

What an awesome song with this release &my favorite song with WAY OUT WEST !! Merle Haggard gave Marty Stuart the torch to carry on real COUNTRY MUSIC & couldnt have made a better choice !! Drive on MARTY STUART !! The CD is awesome & wearing it out !!

Absolutely love it! There aren't many sounds much purer and prettier than perfectly tuned Martin acoustic guitars in the hands of great country and bluegrass pickers. Couple their incredible playing skills with flawless harmonies and you have the ingredients for consistently fine music from Marty and his Fabulous Superlatives. They're equally adept on those classic Telecasters, and some of the best practitioners out there today, IMHO. Keep that great, timeless music coming to us for many more years, Marty!
