Actually, I think he’s quite well respected in Nashville and in the country scene in other cities. When I’ve watched country videos going back, he’s in a ton of them. And then, he’s been a Superlative since they formed. Yes, a brilliant musician. Song writer, drummer, guitarist, fabulous singer (those lungs!) I got to meet him last year in Bethel Woods, NY. Nice man!
This song is phenomenally brilliant. The Pilgrim is the best kept secret in “country music”. The deluxe edition is insane. The unreleased tracks are superb..
Great story, as I get older, I've learned to appreciate a good story, the bonus song here, icing on the cake. Well done Marty, you have rightly inherited the crown, The King of Country Music.
