    When they opened a Guitar Center where I live I went by out of curiosity and in the front window were life size cardboard cut outs of all the guitar greats like Hendrix, Page, etc and then there was Keith Urban. Being a fan of just about all music I knew who he was and when I went into the store I asked one of the guys who worked there if any of their customers recognized Keith Urban and he said "usually not but when they ask who he is I tell them he is one hell of a guitar player." Whether or not you like country if you haven't heard him play you need to.

His family is first in his life, and his passion for the guitar and his music is fills the other side of his heart! He Loves his fans and He is a awesome dude all around point blank : )
    I just bought his Ebony Burst Electric from the world premier launch as I cant wait to get it!!! I love the fact that the Action is real low for my little hands... it will make it easier to play !! The arched backing which will make for a smaller neck.. and so much more.

    1:55 "I got Fender to do me a couple of left-handed Cabronita necks because I like the tension of the strings when they are strung this way" Does this make sense to anyone else? Surely the tension would be exactly the same. If the tension was any different then it would be a different note. Two things govern the note and it's the length and the tension. Obviously the actual length doesn't change because the string oscillates from the bridge to the nut. I think he's just trying to justify the quirky appeal.

    • @lucasosborn299
      @lucasosborn299 8 лет назад +2

      The length does actually change the tension. I know from experience building guitars.

    • @deldia

      +Lucas Osborn A string's frequency is a function of its length and tension, agreed? If the length is the same (distance between bridge and nut), how can the tension be any different?

      wikichris The distance between the tuning peg and string saddle are all different. if you put the saddle farther back (say maybe 6 inches) you would be able to tune it up as much as when it was where it was originally. The tensions does change regardless of where the bridge and nut are.

    • @JBAikensMusic
      @JBAikensMusic 5 лет назад

      Isan Simpson The longer the string ( scale length), the more tension needed to attain the same pitch. The variables are the gauge of wire used.
      In this case we are talking within 1lb. But enough to make a different playing experience

    • @isansimpson2056
      @isansimpson2056 5 лет назад

      @@JBAikensMusic the scale is the distance between the saddle and the nut man...spare string past the nut makes no difference to the tension on the part of the guitar you play...between the nut and the tuning key is essentially it's own scale you moron. Try to actually know what you're talking about before explaining shit to people man. Misinformation isn't going to help all the naive players out there that don't know any better.

    • @Mardy72
      @Mardy72 4 года назад

      @@isansimpson2056 just found this comment. I disagree bro. Your theory is only correct for guitars that have a locking nut. Then the scale length is the same across all the strings. On a standard nut the string can slide through the slot....so the length of the string before the nut would alter the tension and feel. Strings don't slide through the nut you say?? Look at the Wilkinson roller nut system Fender used.
      Yes, scale length is from nut to bridge but tension is from the ball of the string to the machine head (unless you have a locking trem and nut)

    • @isansimpson2056
      @isansimpson2056 4 года назад

      @@Mardy72 that's just incorrect man. completely. If that was the case, then why can you not calculate string tension based on the total length of the string between the ball-end and the tuner? It makes no sense. Playing a baritone would be useless and you could just make a headstock that's twice as long. Case in point, your guitar string between the bridge and the nut is a completely different pitch than between nut and the tuner. Your theory essentially says they should be one and the same, and they are not. Also, when the fuck did I say that strings don't slide through the nut? Sure they do, but that doesn't mean the string isn't "breaking" at the point of the nut...this is why break angle is so important and string trees exist....because you're setting the scale length. If the angle wasn't steep enough past the nut or before the bridge saddle then you're right and the scale would be between the ball-end and the tuner....also, if the string length after the nut or before the bridge saddle factored into tension and pitch, you would not be able to even come close to calculating the fret positions - fret positions only have to do with scale length.

      Yes, it's correct that the definition of Vibrato is changing pitch. But the technical term for the vibrato unit on the Fender Stratocaster is "synchronized tremolo" . Leo patent the name and the unit. As did Floyd Rose, who applied his patent on his locking bridge unit as well, with the name "Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo". So, Gunner is actually correct in the term "get him a tremolo". So, Conaca you are partially right, as well.

    I own one of your electric guitars and it's the worst guitar I have ever owned. It never stays in tune.

    it's laughable that this poser is willing to get in front of a camera and pretend that he's a good guitar player. he needs to spend as much time practicing his playing as he spends in front of a mirror adjusting his mangina moose knuckle.
