Italian soprano Sara Scuderi sings "Donde lieta usci" from Puccini's "La boheme." Alberto Erede conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in this 1948 recording.
They don't make singers like that anymore today ! Sad . What a great Voice !
Che dolcezza interpretativa! ❤️🌺😘
What a vocal genius. Her tone becomes what the drama needs.
I loved her in “Tosca’s Kiss”, a wonderful documentary.
I have never enjoyed an operatic voice so much! Thank you for sharing this! I heard about her on Classical Arts Showcase, when they showed a clip of her and another retired singer re-enacting s scene from Tosca together in their old age. What fine music! And what a charming personality. I hope I can age as well as she did.
Lovely
And I never heard of her in Europe. Wow. What a natural voice. This is beautiful. She doesn't even have to force her voice. Wow, this is, indeed, amazing. Best than Ponselle!
I discovered her in Casa Verdi. What a bewitching wonderful voice, unbelievable.
Bellissima. Grande artista.
Grandissima, troppo dimenticata
Sara Scuderi - Donde lieta usci
coinvolgente nella sua dolce e intensa espressività
commovente!!!
Thank you very much, is a wonderfull Video !
Che Nucile! Aprite gl'orecchi a grande Sara Scuderi!
My hair went one inch higher
so beautiful., so moving
Really Puccini's voice
Ammirevole, conservò una voce fresca e fluida fino alla fine. Perchè non abbiamo più voci simili???
Grande e bella voce

Bofkont. Ik zou haar ook wel eens gezien en gehoord willen hebben. Zij is een legende in Holland.

agreed!
Brava !!!
Ein Traum von Stimme
Bella voce.
Divina
This does not sound like Scuderi's voice, fine though it is.The voice is lighter and the recording more recent.Compare it with the video of her complete recordings.
My impression, also. It may be Nuccia Focile, a more recent soprano with an incredibly beautiful tone.
@@marianneluban3347 it is not just a matter of tone.
Well now you know for next time.
Read.
Remembers me of Melba -- very young voices.
Why is this woman unknown in America?
Definately in the ranks of Ponselle and Muzio.
Her singing style is undated-what a pity this voice is rarely heard.
Divine!
