And while for now, Air-to-Air is Beyond Visual Range, I am a firm believer that a peer-to-peer fight with 6th generation fighters will mark the return of the merge as the only option to fight- as stealth will eventually bring detection distances for Air-to Air down to a few kilometers. Here comes the F-35 Lightning!!!! Move over Harrier, but no dis-respect. The newer generation of a vertical take-off, and landing airplane is here with this magnificent, and insane creation. This is a very dangerous fighter to enemy forces. It is smaller than it's bigger, near identical brother, the F-22 Raptor, and it is much faster than the older MCD AV/8 Harrier, or the British Aerospace examples. The F-35 can also fly at higher altitudes than the Harrier for supreme air attack situations, and also has the VTOL/STOL take+off, and landing configuration. For a smaller airplane it's size than the F-15, F/A-18, F-14, or F-22, it sure can be used for high-speed dog-fighting abilities, just like the other four, but the F-35, though much lighter than the others, can confuse any enemy attack aircraft that come it's way. That says a lot about this little beauty!!!!!
I'm fascinated by these planes. They are located at our local RAF base, Marham. They come over my coastal town daily at present. Apparently they have recently been deployed to support NATO in the Arctic.
We were invited on a Family Day Cruise on the USS Carl Vinson out of Alameda in 1995. 15 hour Cruise out under the Golden Gate. They put on one great air show out 30 miles. What great hosts. The Ship had just returned from Desert Storm. That thing just barely fits under the GG bridge. People were throwing flowers on us from the Bridge. And those Pilots are like Rock Stars. So much fun sailing Bald Eagle Cruise Lines.

The ground crew is part of the show. Amazing flight, amazing aircraft!
Logheed martin. 🇺🇸
This video was taken at the Cleveland Air show it was awesome
such a beautiful piece of freedom
Os dois cacas + completos em tds os requisitos e aspectos, fantastico!!! Maravilhoso!!! Duas maquinas soberanas do espaco aereo.
Absolutely amazing
Wow! That turn radius!
Whoever stating the F-35 isn't maneuverable needs to see this video. Awesome
so beautiful, too bad than in Mexico we still using the northrop f 5, all my dreams broken
I'm fascinated by these planes. They are located at our local RAF base, Marham. They come over my coastal town daily at present. Apparently they have recently been deployed to support NATO in the Arctic.
It has an amazing high energy turns
The ring of air that engulfs the fuselage...looks cool as heck ...is that a result of the plane reaching a specific speed?
Yep, it happens when the plane is about to break the sound barrier.
@@DtRockstar1 No. It is just moisture in the air creating a vapor cone due to rapid pressure change.
i was there. loved seeing this plane in the sky. one of my favorite planes with a badass sound
Same!!!
I can’t decide if an f-22 or f-35 is better but I’m kind of leaning towards the f-35
Did almost entire show in afterburner. F16 and Hornet would be out of gas long time ago.
Great video. Incredible machine!
Insane vectoring !!!
The pinnacle of aviation technology.
No, not really. The pinnacle of 1997 aviation, because that is when they start it.
Oh my god, God bless the United States of America and Lockheed Martin. It doesn’t get more patriotic than this 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Welcome to Germany
Can it make cobra maneuver or high speed 360 rotation?
@ 3:03 the pilot was actually texting and flying he deserves a ticket. 😜
Just discovered my new love for jets
Awesome ! ..And i'm proud and relaxed, couse of that Finnish Air-defence forces gonna get 64 pcs of those.. :)
That slow backflip is so unreal 😀😀
Maravilhoso simplesmente fantástico
🤔🤣🤣😎
I love how that stalled and in zero velocity
Amazing F35
I saw one of these in real life today, amazing!
Beautiful ❤️ 🇺🇸 🦅
Any enemy would have to be crazy to mess with that thing. What is it? Space Craft or Air Craft? Both? Martin blurring the line.
3:30 Fantastic!
Brilliant footage here. Thanks for sharing. Mine isn't a patch on this! Fantastic to see in person😁
Thank you very much, Linda!
What a fucking coincidence. Came here after seeing the Battlefield 2042 trailer again and what do you know.. they play Kickstart my Heart here as well. Coincidence? I think not
