Being an old carrier sailor I'm in awe of what this plane can do.
It's amazing sea harrier was a beautiful machine but this baby takes it to the next level 🔥🔥🔥🇬🇧🇬🇧
Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.
1:22 look at that beautiful vapor cone. Gives me goosebumps.
3:15 most beautiful part of vid, Stunning!
ooooo cobra and then a semi flat spin
If the DFLCS was decoupled and you tried that in most other fighters, you would immediately lose control and go into a deep stall.
Go forward, America! Long live the Nato! Long live freedom! Down with all dictatorships and terrorists all around the world! Best wishes from Germany!
That was the exacly thing I thought!

I can't imagine the thrill it must be to fly one of these planes.
It gets old...
The nausea is the worst part.

Awesome movie!!
This jet by itself would thrash all of those Su-57s.

Starting at 3:22 the way it's able to move like that is astonishing.

I picked an argument with a friend who dissed the F35 until I showed him this video the expression on his face was priceless
Haha!! That’s awesome! Thank you very much for passing along my video, I just wish I could’ve seen his expression! 😂😂🤘🤘
If any modernised 4th generation comes across the F-35 the F-35's pilot's expression will be priceless.
There is nothing going for the F-35 that other planes don't have.

D he’s trolling
@@landont.5400 I can't say I am.
This is soo incredible at making me feel safe in these trying times. Knowing that this plane's capabilities were tested in excess in 2006 makes this more or less the "modern-classic" of the last generation, like the F-22 has been for so long.
AWESOME! The video brought back childhood memories of not only hearing, but also feeling a sonic boom. The most incredible, yet scary "boom" I've ever heard. I'm sure glad the U.S. has these magnificent war-birds in their arsenal.
Me too. My dad taking me every year to Mildnhall air show in Norfolk ☺️
Hearing these planes in person is astounding, this video doesn't do it justice.
I live in Melbourne Australia and not long ago they moved two of these jets from one base to another without warning and it freaked out the entire southern part of the state so much so it made the news.
I legitimately thought doomsday was upon us with how loud the sound was and the way it shook the house was like an earthquake.
Beautiful design. Much respect and admiration to American engineering. You guys truly have phenomenal aeronautical engineers!
yeah American paid billion for these aircraft while thousand of American are homeless
@@iamhardwell2844 wow way to ruin the mood. The video is for appreciating the F-35 but instead you come here to complain about military spending. Like I get that people are homeless but then again how many of those people will actually use that money for good and to help themselves. I don’t understand everyone’s issues and how they got to where they are, I feel bad don’t get me wrong, but it’s really disappointing knowing that half of those people will end up spending that money on things that won’t even benefit their life or make it better. Look not trying to pick a fight but this video is just not the place to start something. Just appreciate the amazing F-35’s engineering
Not just American engineering mate! The UK, Australia, Canada, Italy, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands all helped develop the tech needed for this amazing machine, not just the US.
@@iamhardwell2844 that is so wrong, no facts or statistics, just opinion

Hows it going
How's it been going?
You don't need to go to flight school to be a pilot in the USAF. You need to be an officer aka a college degree and then apply for the program. Good luck!
Did you pass?
Stuff like this is why I’m happy to be in the Air Force :)

Could anyone kindly explain what created that effect?

Thank you, Saad, for enlightening me!
1200 km/hour dont know in miles
@@saad5990 Not really, it's just below transonic. If the aircraft exceeded the speed of sound, you wouldn't hear the aircraft coming until it passed by and when it would pass by, you would hear a loud boom.
A superb machine. Art in motion, stealth in nature: comforting to the West.
the west didn't own it
Cada aeronave tem uma particularidade especial, na minha opiniao, ambos sao os melhores avioes de combate da atualidade
Thanks for uploading this beautiful demonstration mr Rockstar!

We were invited on a Family Day Cruise on the USS Carl Vinson out of Alameda in 1995. 15 hour Cruise out under the Golden Gate. They put on one great air show out 30 miles. What great hosts. The Ship had just returned from Desert Storm. That thing just barely fits under the GG bridge. People were throwing flowers on us from the Bridge. And those Pilots are like Rock Stars. So much fun sailing Bald Eagle Cruise Lines.
this is poetry in motion with one of the best fighterjets in the world damn it looks good

Great video. Incredible machine!
I've been keeping up with the F-35 since 2008 & this version of it looks straight up super charged or something. WOW
The pilots learned how to fly it, and Lockheed tweaked settings based on pilot feedback. People who criticized this plane while it was still in testing - and when pilots were still switching from fourth-gen platforms and getting used to the aircraft - are looking pretty silly as of late.
It wasnt till the last 4-5 years that it had the limiters removed. They still had a bunch if testing, before it was limited to 6-7 gs. Now its been increase ti 9 gs
@@89turbomk3 - Very true, and a major point here. It will also be interesting to see what C variant can do once the Navy forms a regular demonstration team.
D 349 i read somewhere that the f35 b and f35 c are limited 7.5 and 7 gs, if u google it im sure u can find the specs. I could be wrong but i remember reading it somewhere
@@89turbomk3 yeah but I think the F 35 c's are the only limited because of its foldable wings. Maybe I could be also wrong, well there's google to help
I admit I was one of the antagonistic voices against the program 5 years ago, and still skeptical. That's an impressive flight demonstration, without a doubt. That kind of maneuverability is insane. Valuable against surface to air I assume. Air-to-air is over the horizon. Fancy is cool but impractical. Its value is as a component of a network, with air-to-air superiority as a 2ndary benefit. It's fun to watch it maneuver. I'd like to see what it can really in its intended role.
And to think this is a demo of the 7.5G limited Block 3i airframe, not the 9G Block 3F & 4- I saw a Block 3F demo, it was even more agressive, with a LOT more angles available to it at the same speeds as the 3i.
And while for now, Air-to-Air is Beyond Visual Range, I am a firm believer that a peer-to-peer fight with 6th generation fighters will mark the return of the merge as the only option to fight- as stealth will eventually bring detection distances for Air-to Air down to a few kilometers. With 5th gen vs 5th gen, it's already down to ~20-40km between the two jets for detection and shootdown.
Incredible to think about what the future holds with these amazing metal beasts.
Amazing!! I've been seeing this jet a lot since the pandemic began!

just remember the Wright brothers started it all

The way it started to hover for a bit right after coming out of a dive is actually pretty scary to behold. What would the enemy think if they expected a pilot to go down but they just hovered instead lmao.

@@betmen7542 but could it actually beat an F-35? The F-35 would run circles around that.
@@betmen7542 The difference is that this plane will wipe an entire fleet of them out of existence before the 35 even showed up on radar.
How do you explain the maneuver from 3:30-3:40? The plane simply lift back up, I can only believe it is thrust vectoring; but if it is that is incredible. The power of modern jets is amazing
I don't know if that even counts as flight any longer. It's more rocket than airplane. Just balancing on the thrust of the engine!
F35 only has thrust vectoring for stovl not regular fight. This is a post stall manuver so the airflow is stalled over the wing and the plane is in free fall (or going whichever way momentum is taking it). However due to the powerful engine and large control surfaces, a degree of control is still available. You don't wanna be in that state for too long though as you are losing altitude most of the time.
Amazing video;excellent plane.
Thank you very much!

The ring of air that engulfs the fuselage...looks cool as heck ...is that a result of the plane reaching a specific speed?
Yep, it happens when the plane is about to break the sound barrier.
What a gorgeous machinery
This has to take the cake for one of the most badass airplanes
Has better alpha than rafale and su 34
a technological masterpiece and an engineering marvel. I have watched numerous clips of these being on demonstration flights, and they appear to defy gravity. it is pretty mind-blowing that they are capable of maneuvers that the human pilot is not, as he couldn't take it and would simply pass out.
A human pilot could lol
Если бы они сами это придумали то да,а не скопировали с як 141
Anyone who's been to a show with these should have respect for the goat herder who's witnessed the same but still didn't put his decades old AK down. Not any respect for his beliefs, intentions, or actions, but for the sheer balls. If one of these is in the sky above you, your life is already forfeit. It belongs to the pilot and the one giving him orders until he lands.
Beautiful jet 💪
The ability to point the nose at will is incredible.
Essential ability for a fighter in an air to air fight. But the F35 is much more than that.
BVR tactics ability negates the need for dogfight nose positioning dominance in the flight regime. The F35 can kill without close manuevoring closure.
@Cobradriver99 still jealous lol nvm your country will get the similar jet in next 40 years
@Cobradriver99 Yes, it’s “only” a mach1.6, 1200mph plane. But the ability to super cruise at Mach 1+ with no afterburner is becoming more important than short-burst Mach 2+!at full afterburner. It’s a paradigm shift in thinking....super maneuverability and super speed are a thing of the past, it’s not 1970 anymore, jets are not going to tangle in a short space and dogfight. Stealth, super cruise and high tech are where it’s at now. Not to say the F-35 is a slouch, it can still pull 9 g’s has massive power and can perform all the dogfighting tricks just as good as fourth gen planes, but that’s 1% of the story for the F-35. Have you seen one at an airshow? It’s impressive.
@@kmfiz you might be right but they said dogfights are a relict from the past already in Vietnam because of long range missles and in reality dogfights were all over the place
3:33 Did that plane just stop in mid-air, choose another direction and blast off that way instead? The massive power of its engine seems to hurl it whichever way it wants to go.
The f 35b has vtol capabilities so in theory it is possible
@@dukeman466 That is not a a F35B. He was just able to maneuver that way because of the jets capabilities.
