Me building decks: one with only insects, one with only pirates, one with only.......

Thanks for the video, that was very helpful as a new person! I ended up skipping the lore deep dives as I don't think they added much (and that's from a Witcher fan, just felt like they broke up your pace a bit), but all the content you put in was great! Do you know of any good videos showcasing each factions' leaders/abilities? Might make for a good dummies video miniseries!

How would you compare Gwent's Factions to Magic: The Gathering's Color Elements? You mentioned Monsters being compared to Green. How about the rest? I used to play MTG, and now I'm very much interested to understand and play Gwent. Thanks!

Is mill somehow more toxic in this game than games like MTG or Hearthstone? Do you lose if you fail to draw from your deck?

Gee, so glad I watched all that video, waiting for the Syndicate information at the end, only for you to just cheap out and basically skip it. Not to mention you skipping over how mill decks work because they make you too salty.
Really good video and serie! I played Gwent before homecoming, like closed beta stuff and a little later too, but stopped because everything changed after homecoming - not a bad thing tho - but I`m trying to get back to the game now, I played only Monsters but the faction is in such a bad state right now so I`m trying some Scoiatel but its nice to see something like this to catch up with stuff
So what is “gg”? I’m seriously trying to learn how to play this... I’m really , really frustrated that I’m having such a hard time learning and playing this game. Idk what some of these cards mean... like the other ability that a card has, what deathwish is and how to use it, or anything like that. I don’t know how to build my deck or add cards to it. When I try I get a message that says something like “you don’t have a copy of that card” or whatever... I wish someone could tech me this damn game so I can not feel like a moron and not get my ass kicked. I wish it was just like it is on The Witcher 3. I kill shit there.
"gg" just means "good game" lol. there's different ways of getting cards.

Look it up. And don't play it. Playing mill decks make you a dick.
Mill is a style of deck in card games where you make your opponent draw cards until they have no cards left in their deck. In Gwent, this means you can play cards like Avallach, Magne Division, and Tibor and get their upside (card draws or boosts) without the downside of drawing your opponent a card.
It's often complained about because the games tend to be tedious and is often decided by just two factors: the amount of thinning in the mill opponent's deck and whether the mill player drew the cards they needed.
Lore makes this video needlessly long, otherwise good job
I think the lore is one of the best additions to the video, but that’s just my opinion 🙂
