Thanks for the video review. (I'm a subscriber.) I just got an INOX 92FS. I've found the frame finish to be a little fragile. In fact, I put a small scratch in the frame, accidently, with my fingernail. I was VERY surprised (and bummed out, too). Have you found your frame finish to be a bit delicate?
I got my 92fs for security work, and at the time I couldn't afford a Glock or a 45 caliber when I was stuck living in California at the time. But my pistol served me well in private security industry, as well as a daily carry gun here where I'm at now in Alabama
That was more then 15 years ago, lol. Most definitely its probably expensive now, I still have the original paperwork to, I paid 650 dollars for it, at a store in nipomo comiefornia.
Only the Italian Inox 92s have the rough finish with the very light color frame. The USA frames are smoother and a darker color frame. First thing I would do is order ALL Inox parts from Midwest Gun Works and ditch those shitty black parts. I have swaped out many Inox 92 black parts. There is nine black parts to change on the Inox. Next would be to ditch those cheap plastic grips you put on that look like they would crack at the smallest bump or tightened grip screw and get some Houge Aluminum grips. Enjoy your 92s. Any questions just ask.
My only complaint with my plain 92fs it has a plastic guide rod, and I had to get a metal one and the magazines are more expensive then other magazines for other handguns
I have an italian m9a3 and an italian 92fs inox. The inox is great, just wish the frame was more polished, like what youre saying. The stock rubber grips suck.
Your gun store guy like damn near all gun store guys don’t know shit. There’s no variation in production and they’re all the same. The part of the frame you’re referring to is called the dust cover. Early versions of the beretta up until around 2008 had what they called the straight dust cover. Those were prone to cracking so Beretta changed the design to a more sloped dust cover which is why yours has an angle vs what you may see in pictures. Secondly, the frame is fine. The rough anodizing will smooth out after enough handling. You can use a microfiber cloth to smooth it out in about 15mins. If you want it to smooth out evenly I’d recommend stripping the gun down - removing the grips, takedown button and lever, slide stop & trigger bar, polish the frame with a microfiber and it will smooth out. Absolutely nothing there to complain about.
Awesome video. Where did you get the grips at?

I’m going to white out mine. Having trouble finding a few of the pieces though.

Amazing to hear of a time where a Beretta was less expensive than a Glock.

give that baby a mirror polish
Probably shouldn’t be talking about ruining aesthetics given the grips you put on it
First
Winning
Beretta is on the verge of going out of business due to lost contracts and quality control. They’re ranked lower on the doocie scale then hi-point.
