    Thank you so much Dan for taking the time to share this. You have truly helped me hang onto my sanity through what has been the most difficult season of my life.
    I recovered from this years ago but found myself in the thick of heavy symptoms it again recently as we say goodbye to my teen daughter who has cancer.
    I've been listening to your videos and relayed the relevant ideas to her and they have helped her cope with and take the edge off the pain in the end stages of a pediatric bone cancer and helped me to ease the intensity of my own relapsing symptoms.
    You've helped her to see that when it seems things are completely out of your control in a hopeless and helpless situation the one thing no one or nothing can ever take from us is how we respond to the situation and that we are actually the one giving life to all this and that's pretty empowering!
    We are powerful beyond comprehension and I know she will take these lessons with her in whatever new adventure awaits her soul. Thank you for making the world feel a little less scary for her right now.

I was very proud of myself for having endured it when I really wanted to run away. Keep challenging yourself. It can still be difficult for me but I'm teaching my brain safety and slowly getting my life back. I applaud you!

    Crappy morning. Full blown panic attack before leaving my house for blood test at my doctors, but I got there to be told, nothing on system. Grr. Me thinking I've effed up. They then say I cancelled it an hour earlier wtf. I didn't. I know it's their error and they are not owning it. Went home. Got out again but my anxiety sky high, assorted pains etc. Keep telling myself you're ok. So many symptoms trying to get my full attention. Did a little walk, now sat in my car, feeling mentally exhausted but letting the tears flow. Will head home and start the afternoon calmer lol. PDP Pandora's box which I need to close. Smaller steps. Sigh

    I went to the Philly Museum of Art yesterday. It’s huge. I react strongly to solvents and paint. Well it wasn’t the art but the first two rooms I entered had a fresh coat. I got dizzy as usual but stuck it out. Hundreds of rooms there the rest were ok. I’m glad I stayed. Btw Dan probably knows the area but the gardens and arboretums in the Wayne PA area are beautiful I highly recommended going. Even now in fall massive colors and stuff in bloom.

    Hey Dan,
    I mostly got TMS under control (for me it is nerve pain and tingling) and i do not fear it anymore. This i must mostly thank to your videos. Thanks ❤
    I do have a question; everytime im in a stressful period, the pain flares up again. What would you advice in this situation? As if the stress retriggers the nerve pain signal pathways..

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +1

      Teach the brain that stress does not have to be interpreted as dangerous. How? My responding with clarity. Have a conversation directly with your brain and subconscious. Tell it that stress doesn't have to hurt. This video will help: ruclips.net/video/twNl7iv4K0Y/видео.html

    I ’ve been watching at least one of your videos everyday for weeks now and I can really feel that not paying the symtoms to much attention and tell my brain a lot safety-messages works! Then today I had a doctors appointment and she prescribed medicine for my POTS. And when I got home my fatigue was worse than it been in weeks. I think all the focus on the symtoms during the appointment and her prescription made my brain hit the alarm buttom. Can that be the case?
    I don’t know what to think and do now about the medication.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +2

      The doctors visit raised the perception of danger significantly, thus the increase in symptoms. That's ALL that is going on. While I cannot make a recommendation regarding medication since I'm not a doctor... A question to answer for yourself is this: If you were making progress without the meds, why not stay on the same path and see how far it takes you? All POTS medications do is try to alleviate symptoms, they do not cure it. A TMS/Safety approach can reverse the symptoms of POTS completely.

    • @karped892
      @karped892 2 года назад +1

    • @karped892
      @karped892 2 года назад +1

      Mayby a stupid question bur is it possible to continue with TMSapproach with the meds as a help or is that contraproductive? 🙈Anxious that I will lose my ”sick-benefit” if I don’t follow the doctors order….

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +1

      @@karped892 The intention behind the meds is more important than whether or not you take them. Be clear that the meds are nothing more than self kindness and not a cure. The TMS approach is the cure. Keep that clear and taking meds as a means of being kind to yourself should not affect recovery.
