    Thank you for sharing your story!! My migraine story almost exactly. After coming across Curable I've found a lot of success with Dan and these videos. Whenever I have flare ups I find it's almost always because I've come across some sort of belief that I did something wrong. For example, certain foods and sugar is one of mine too. Or thoughts that I need to find a way to "fix" some past childhood trauma. Any of these types of thoughts puts me back into pain city. When I get back to remembering that I am not broken either physically or mentally, my door to relief opens back up again. Thank you again for these wonderful stories and reminders :) ❤❤

    Thank you Liz. A great story of success. I once told my massage therapist about my TMS success she said they had one lecture on it in college but in her practice had met only one other person like us.

    Thanks Liz and Dan for such a great learning experience while I watched this video. I appreciated how Liz was so present and able to hear what Dan was saying.
    I have come to realize how even the most subtle and unconscious associations that I make with places or times where I have had a pain flare can bring on another episode of pain. But, at least now, I can hear Dan saying that I just have to continue giving myself messages of safety. Again, thank you for making the time and effort to put this video on RUclips.

    Thank you, it's nice to hear a migraine success story. I know back pain comes up so much in TMS, and it's all the same root, but nice to hear her story and see myself in so much of it. Thanks both of you!

    Great interview and lots of learning for me. Liz has a very encouraging story relating to symptoms and being 90% asymptomatic. Well done and best wishes for the future. 👏👏👏☘

      So, if you got rid of the pain initially, isn't that proof the tear was not the problem all along? How your pain behaves is a much better indicator of it's cause than an imaging study. There are many with similar tears and no pain. And you had no pain for a while. Perhaps it's not the tear?

    Hi Liz thank you for sharing your story I can relate to you very much I also think it is that your inner child has hurt in the past a lot. And that you got to tell her over and over again that these events happened in the past and there is no need anymore for symptoms. Because we are safe. I also recently lost my sister symptoms were going up and still not down but i don't care had baby wins with one symptom so I know I am on the right path thanks to Dan. I watch his videos and absolutely love to be in his zoomcall I learn so much and as you say I also believe that this tms thing is all about how to love yourself. I am more calm and kind to myself and no more people pleasing no no. Me first now finally. I have met some amazing people in Dan's school they feel like being my twin sisters so much alike we are. So I keep on going and trusting the proces. Keep talking to my little scared brain that we are actually ok. And know now that eventually my brain is getting my message and switch of the alarm. I whish you tons of love in your pain free life. ♥️😘💐🇳🇱💕

    Maybe the work of neuroscientist, Lisa Feldman Barrett, How Emotions are Made, talks about how the brain is a prediction machine. Schubiner cites her work.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +2

      Yes, Schubiner calls it predictive coding. What we expect, the brain can create. This is why I always suggest to expect the best and focus on what we want.

    I know this is another old video but I wonder, when you use indifference to the migraine starting can you still take an abortive medication like a Triptan? I know I’m experiencing tms but wonder how to manage pshyically when the pain comes.

    Wondering if Liz does any expressive writing or Journals peak since she read Nichole Sachs?

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад

      She did not mention that as a current part of her daily routine. If you have already dug up your past emotional wounds, doing it over and over isn't the solution - in my opinion.

      @@PainFreeYou I agree....the journalspeak process is also current situations, and positives, self-appreciation, and whatever is popping up. Sometimes i just write questions that come up and often a day or two later I start writing responses.

    So, it's still not clear, as in my own life, was born with spine deformity, and from a very early age, i'd have episodes of stabbing/severe pain, which as a 2 and 3 year old surprised me. would have cycles of this for life. diagnosed via x-ray only in 1988. compound injuries from the unbalance were added..
    i do not see the cause as anything yet physical. t.m.s.[mental/emotional] does count in making things worse; yet a frontal lobotomy would tend towards 'curing' the problem as well..i am open to debate on this and use myself as evidence - physical causality.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад +1

      Wayne, I have never suggested that all pain is always TMS / Mindbody. There are certainly cases where there are physical causes of pain. What would you like to debate?

      @@PainFreeYou well, it seems that a modern science view lacks an encompassing knowledge of the human body. so t.m.s. as you say can't answer everything. i have lots of questions and some answer may be going back to greek holistic mind/body/psyche treated as a inseperable 'one'. shamans elders would contact higher sources in a automatic healing, usually with no knowledge of the ways and means, just the results. it's way too complex to figure out how 'a miracle' works, we don't have the mental resources... so this seperation, compartmentalization, of today is a huge catastrophe like modern science, and medicine.
