The raw representation of his pain and sufferings in a more artistic way. Tbh I cried after watching the mv, I just could not stop myself. I can't even imagine how much pain Yoongi went through in his life to reach his now peace, where he is himself, accepting of his past and being hopeful for his future, where he knows even after all those traumas he again reincarnated himself as a blooming lotus, a rising Phoenix which is unstoppable now. My respect for him just skyrocketed. I just love him and wish nothing but the best for this man. He is silent but he always takes care of others without complaining and people often misunderstood him for his cold behavior but he is one of the most kindhearted, genuine and true to his own self kinda man who knows what he is doing and what he wants. All those traumatic and painful events actually happened in real life. He’s talked about it years ago and seeing it in the mv and acted by yoongi himself was insane.. I wasn’t emotionally ready. I’m crying so hard :(( I’m just glad yoongi is still with us today.
This MV was just so raw and powerful, the lyrics are so full of raw emotion which I can partly relate to. And I just love Yoongis acting also there were bits that made me cry and get emotional. The fact that Yoongi chose to share such personal moments with us that was so hard for him to get through must have been so hard but he still did it anyway it says alot about the person he is, he has so much of courage. I was moved in tears the whole time watching it. Hardcore but very true. He was so brave enough to share his own scars. It's like his dark days but everything has come in full circle and he was able to overcome it. Agustd is scarred but he said he is now in a better mental state. He survived. He's a living testimony. Now i understand his message from Daechwita, Haegum and now Amygdala.

I can't stop crying after watching this 'cause it explains everything about his real past the pain and others😭and also explains the scarf that appeared before in his last album. I thought he actually have a fight or got hurten by someone, but this music video shows that it's a scar from his own pain...🤧💜💜just the teary feeling I can't😢
My personal pet theory at present is that this represents different "versions" of Yoongi from different periods of his life, different choices he made or COULD have made. So scarred Agust D is the angry, depressed version of him who is stuck in past hurt and can't climb out of the darkness. Sweet, clear-faced Suga(?) on his delivery route, he gets hurt but he is active, goes out of his way to try to help others (becoming a team player and caring hyung with BTS), he tries to release/heal Agust D but doesn't have the ability, strength or tools to do so. Young, cynical Yoongi watches it all while scarfing down some popcorn. And currentday Artist!Yoongi in the leather coat is able to inhabit any space and express himself. Scarred!Agust is locked up - not healed, not gone, but compartmentalized for Yoongi to survive. From what I've heard, he said about Haegeum that he's older, calmer, more ready to let go and forgive, and that Agust D was "retiring" - in a very fatal and final way, judging from Haegeum... I kind of wish Artist!Yoongi could have opened the door and just... let him go, but perhaps the point is that it IS the past, there is no room for that traumatized youngster in him anymore? And the references to the amygdala, which helps process emotions, and can be part of what causes clinical/chemical depression...
He never gave up on his dreams and continued to reach his dreams even with all the struggles he had he still never gave up……. He is the strongest person I know and his song was really creative and sad😭💜💜💜

My thought is the past Yoongi is trying to save future Yoongi that went through hard times and the present Yoongi is watching it play out.
I feel like he's trying to save himself from his own mind. That this part of the MV in a room is his own mind, and the real "me" that was trying to open the door and end that prison

I can't stop crying after watching this 'cause it explains everything about his real past the pain and others😭and also explains the scarf that appeared before in his last album. I thought he actually have a fight or got hurten by someone, but this music video shows that it's a scar from his own pain...🤧💜💜just the teary feeling I can't😢

Yoongi's acting skills deserve a separate prize
My personal pet theory at present is that this represents different "versions" of Yoongi from different periods of his life, different choices he made or COULD have made.
So scarred Agust D is the angry, depressed version of him who is stuck in past hurt and can't climb out of the darkness.
Sweet, clear-faced Suga(?) on his delivery route, he gets hurt but he is active, goes out of his way to try to help others (becoming a team player and caring hyung with BTS), he tries to release/heal Agust D but doesn't have the ability, strength or tools to do so.
Young, cynical Yoongi watches it all while scarfing down some popcorn.
And currentday Artist!Yoongi in the leather coat is able to inhabit any space and express himself.
Scarred!Agust is locked up - not healed, not gone, but compartmentalized for Yoongi to survive.
From what I've heard, he said about Haegeum that he's older, calmer, more ready to let go and forgive, and that Agust D was "retiring" - in a very fatal and final way, judging from Haegeum...
I kind of wish Artist!Yoongi could have opened the door and just... let him go, but perhaps the point is that it IS the past, there is no room for that traumatized youngster in him anymore?
And the references to the amygdala, which helps process emotions, and can be part of what causes clinical/chemical depression...
He never gave up on his dreams and continued to reach his dreams even with all the struggles he had he still never gave up……. He is the strongest person I know and his song was really creative and sad😭💜💜💜

Well, What I can understand from it is that He couldn't save himself from his own amygdala and his traumatic past still haunt him somewhere.
But As he said somewhere that He has moved on from his past..so I don't know.
But SUGA had to endure so much in his past and to showcase it in this way is mind blowing...this mv deserves millions of views.

I really love how beautiful and artistic this MV is, but what I love the most is how meaningful it is! Amygdala is such a beautiful song with a huge emotional weight... Yoongi had to explore and open wounds of all these traumas and painful moments in order to liberate himself from it and rebirth in life as he mentioned in the song D_DAY too. We know this process was not easy it all, it was actually really painful like he mentioned in his documentary. I'M CRYING 😭 It's already one of my favorites ever. Thank you Yoongi for sharing this album with us, an album full of really personal stories and songs that can give strength and help other people too. I'm so proud of being an army, I'm proud of supporting him. He's an incredible artist and a really admirable person. 😭 WE LOVE YOU YOONGI.
